We should not waste time looking for majority approval before making optioning for more direct means of creating the 'change' we need to restore our nation to it's founding principles. As I recall, the rebels in colonial America were a definite minority when they began. What the hell else are we doing? Might as well try and stop a new dark ages from spreading over human freedom.
