Took a trip out this weekend to acquire two more, and make some big decisions, set some things up. Check your back. And if you’re not carrying any weapons, then don’t even bother to check your back, just get the hell out of hell, now. It’ll take a miracle, because as far as I can tell, that’s impossible. But the least I can do is offer you a little hope.

    roger that. and ghetto ass drug dealers get treated like role models. like the rapper 50 cent, who was a crack dealer and was shot like 9 times is now on nickelodeon even. yes a ghetto crack dealer is now seen as a role model for young kids.

    Its amazing, all luxury goods now mean less than nothing to me now. Today a friend offered me his 58″ bigscreen for 450 bones. Didn’t even bat an eye or felt any regret when I said “nope”; 450 translates to a hefty chunk of change at Cabelas or Scheels where all the “necessities” are now bought. Simplify, simplify…high speed, low drag.

    I left a reply for you in the “Winds of Civil War” post. Lord willing, this weekend I will tie the age-old battle of God vs. Satan to Political Correctness, and explain why we MUST get more veterans like Iggy involved in making content that challenges the liberal monolith.

    Study Malachi 3:13, especially the alternative translations of the Hebrew, for you will find the one weapon Satan is wielding against God.

    Thankyou for this message I kept thinking I was invisable or everyone thought I was a nut! LOL

    I scare almost everyone trying to explain that we all need to put our hope and trust in our God and you will feel better. Even my daughter won’t listen to me it scares her. I feel sad but prayer is the best I can do.

    I have watched Pat Dollards web page go from war, to politics and to God the only place to be in these times. Who would of ever thought it could have been done. All due to the election of bo.

    Regarding people seemingly ignoring you, there could be other explanations. For myself, my schedule doesn’t permit me to monitor the site as I wish, and so I only have time to post sporadically, usually in the (EST) afternoon.

    The topic you raise (about frightening people in your zeal to tell them to trust God) is a good one to discuss. I’ll try to continue it when I get to my office.

    The New Stimulus Plan

    Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House. One is from Chicago , another is from Tennessee , and the third is from Minnesota .

    All three go with a White House official to examine the fence. The Minnesota contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. “Well,” he says, “I figure the job will run about $900: $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit for me.”

    The Tennessee contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, “I can do this job for $700: $300 for materials, $300 for my crew and $100 profit for me.”

    The Chicago contractor doesn’t measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, “$2,700.”

    The official, incredulous, says, “You didn’t even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?”

    The Chicago contractor whispers back, “$1000 for me, $1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Tennessee to fix the fence.”

    “Done!” replies the government official.

    And that, my friends, is how the new stimulus plan will work.

    You have “Chicago Style” pegged, but if you want to include “the District of Criminals” flavor: “$700 for me, $700 for you, $200 for ACORN, $400 for Obugger’s campaign; and we hire the guy from Tennessee to fix the fence, but force him to hire DC welfare slugs, and he loses $75 rather than making profit, screw the greedy Capitalist ‘Red Stater’.”

    :arrow: German Dragon I was looking up Malachi 3:13 in bible new king James version. Wow now I know why I read that this edition was not good. It didn’t go past verse 12. I have another older bible conformable to the edition of 1611 commonly known as the authorized of King James version. It is a red letter Holy bible. In this version Malachi Chapter goes to verse 18.

    In Malachi chapter 4:5 God will send Elijah the great prophet before the great and dredful day of the Lord.
    Iam not very up on most of the bible I must admit. What about Elijah is he here or to come?

    Generally, I prefer the Amplified Bible. However, when I’m searching critical passages (or when God inwardly “nudges” me on certain passages) I go to the Interlinear Bible.

    The Interlinear is the authoritative Greek, Aramian, and Hebrew texts from which all English versions are translated; to which English is juxtaposed side-by-side with the original languages. I then pull out my various concordances, dictionaries, and guides on Greek & Hebrew to translate the passage(s) myself.

    After you’ve done this for awhile, you begin to understand why God wrote His Word in Greek and Hebrew. They carry a peculiar energy all to themselves that defies easy or straightforward translation into other languages. It’s as though God is speaking through multiple “tangents,” for lack of a better word, to fully convey His intent.

    And the Greek NT conjunctives changes the structures of many familiar verses into an almost cause-and-effect “equation” that borders on being mathematical in nature.

    In my opinion, for any serious Bible student, at some point in your study there comes a time when there’s simply no substitute whatsoever for translating the original languages for yourself.
