I am guessing they are either reservists or NG.
There is no substitute for proper training.
It’s amazing how simple things, like loading a firearm, become greatly more complicated when you’re being shot at.
I once suggested that to really test the efficacy of a platoon of infantry, someone should be behind them shooting blanks and someone else shooting paintball pellets with flashbangs going off.
I believe they do that during SEAL training (but use real machine guns and ammo).
Being shot at changes your entire mentality and makes simple things difficult.
I disagree that doing simple things is more difficult while being shot at. For instance, if I was up there being shot at I think it would be much easier to crap my pants than usual.
What part of “fires from the open-bolt position” didn’t he understand?!

I am ANG and i can say that this is a sad sad group, there is no way in hell i would be walking around in a t shirt with no armor during a fire fight, one guy is standing up def in the open (imagine if there was a descent enemy sniper out there, they would have a field day).plus you can throw that ammo in almost sideways and the 240B will still shoot, love that weapon system.
Don’t go talkin shit on the NG. Pogues are pogues, and grunts are grunts, and you can’t substitute one for the other. no matter what component there in.
