The ones that I've used have to hauled in as many as 8 pieces. However, I've seen 250,000 lb. track excavators (this backhoe weighs less than 30,000) do similar things. It is amazing to see one of the big machines grab a 6 story building with a grapple near the top and shake it like a pit bull. Yep not that difficult for a small backhoe. The ones that I’ve used have to hauled in as many as 8 pieces.

However, I’ve seen 250,000 lb. track excavators (this backhoe weighs less than 30,000) do similar things.

It is amazing to see one of the big machines grab a 6 story building with a grapple near the top and shake it like a pit bull.

It's always amazing to watch. We have quite a few "dirt benders" living up here in my neck of the woods. My daughter once asked "Daddy? How did he get that into the back of the truck?". Now I can show her this video! Who knows, maybe she will aspire to be a heavy equipment operator and make some good money. Instead of going to a liberal college (that I can't afford, BTW) and leaving with a useless diploma and enormous debt. I’ve seen this done in person many times. It’s always amazing to watch.
