Gary Sinise Promotes ‘Brothers At War’ On The View – And Gets Disrespected

Mar 31, 2009 27 Comments ›› Erik Wong

I have been telling myself I was NOT going to post this video because the stupid cows on The View (except Elisabeth) disrespected Gary Sinise so bad that I didn’t think they deserved to be seen. He was on the show to promote the documentary he’s supporting, “Brothers At War.”

Then a good friend (you know who you are, Mr. Man) convinced me to post it for just that reason – to show exactly how disgusting these pigs are. Particularly notice at the end when the segment fades out, Elisabeth is the ONLY one who shakes his hand or even otherwise recognizes Gary (and they do it for every other celebutard that comes on their show). In fact, Joy looks like she’s sucking on a lemon, as she, Whoopi & Sherri all sit there with their arms either crossed over their chests or clasped in their laps. How disgustingly disrespectful. The sea cow, Behar, tries to make it brother-vs-brother over the their views on the Iraq war. STFU, Joy. Can’t you just stop for one freakin’ second and be thankful to Gary for supporting our troops?

But for me, the best reason to show this video is to highlight not only Gary Sinise’s patriotism, but also his never-ending support for our troops, and his backing of this fabulous documentary that I cannot wait to see. In fact, I’m trying to get it brought to the Atlanta area.

Having said all that, regardless of your political stripe, please support and recognize Gary Sinise for what a tremendous human being this man is.

Except when he kidnapped Mel Gibson’s kid, he was mean mean mean

  • AflakDuc

He says something good about … something good going on, wtf can they do with that? Bad News Sells. they cant make good ratings and money off Gary so wtf do they care?

I think he is great. Cows and sows describe that program to a T. Country=1/2 stupid.

  • Ernest T. Bass

I think their asses were just too fat to move and show him any appreciation..

  • Mary M

What a good man and great actor he is. I cannot stomach The View. Bunch of post-menopausal biddies screeching liberal idiocy. I’d rather swallow ground glass.

    • wisconsin Mom

      I so totally agree!

  • jasjfarrell

I didn’t watch the clip. Didn’t need to. I know what these nitwits are about. We should boycott their sponsors.

God Bless Gary Sinise and his family! God Bless Our Troops and their families. God Bless America!

This is the cancer that is killing this country – the fact that ignorant, spiteful, and angry people can get airtime for years and those who recognize the good in this country get disrespect or ignored.
I so appreciate all that Gary Sinise and the other “stars” who put their careers on the line to show support for the Military and our country.

Okay, so this is probably an inappropriate comment, but … Good God, that man is so friggin’ hot. He could read the phone book, and I’d still be all over him like a duck on a junebug.

That being said, I’ve got to see this film!

    • Tara2728

I would have to agree 100% with you on that one!!

He could just sit there and not say anything and that would be good enough for me-LOL!!

    • mindy abraham

actually he is more cute than hot, but I love his attitude

  • TedB

I didn’t watch the vid, can’t, don’t want to get angry. Suffice it to say that I admire him for going on The View (Obscured) and meeting them on their turf.

My wife won’t watch TV news with me because I cuss every kool-aid drinking, glow-box denizen I see telling us about their annointed one.

  • Jerry

Actually the vid is not too bad. The hosts do not shout down their guest or get totally obnoxious, (their usual forte) Gary got to deliver. Never mind the condescending look from whoopie, on a rare occasion Gary was able to speak.

  • vimto

Sorry, I cannot see the problem, I thought it was a good chance to get the film some publicity and it was treated with respect. I’ve seen that crew be much more cutting and disrespectful with other celebs.

It got me interested to try to get it on CD in the UK.

Just the mere fact that these gals weren’t talking over the top of the guest and sounding like a gaggle of geese was worth it. Most of the time they compete to say the most outlandish thing or get the most camera time, so for him to sit there and tell the story without being interrupted was worth it.

the fat brown cow looks like she is staring at the doughnuts and that why she wasn’t paying attention

  • XD45c

I don’t think they treated him as badly as some. And my hat is off to Mr. Sinise for braving the heffers in their own barn (as we say at home).

But then again, He being a Marine, they may just have thought he might get up and stomp a mud-hole in them so they were on better behavior than normal.

Liberalism is a sickness, unfortunately, our government sustains and supports it (keep the sheep in line), but I have faith that the 48% of us that did not vote in the current administration will eventually react appropriately and remove them from power and reestablish our constitution.

Of course, it won’t be done in polling places and civil discourse, it will be at the point of the spear, just as it has been done numerous times in history.

    Truly sad.

I think congress needs to be taught about the declaration of Independece. We are given a duty there for this type of government. I challenge all to find it.

They need to handle this immigration proplem before we the people do.

  • FOXFAN

Elisabeth always dresses nice and looks good. The rest area bunch of sows. Whoppi looks like she picked her clothes out of a clothing donation box. Thank God for men like Gary.

  • Bill S.

I am a nobody, but I have been fortunate to have become personal friends with Gary over the last several years. What you see here is who he is: polite, and totally not full of himself. These women are quiet, because some part of them knows true decency when they see it. He is not there to promote himself. He is there to SHOW, and GIVE respect to our troops, and invite others to do the same.

    • http://cclevel.vox.com cclezel

Bill, please tell Gary that not only those who have served in Iraq are greatful for all he has done, but so to are all of us who have served and still have a sense of duty for our fellow soldiers and sailors. I served shortly after Vietnam and I have vowed to never let what happened to those soldiers happen to ours today. He is a true patriot and his actions are duly noted by all. God bless him!

  • YERMOM

YERMOM is looking forward to seeing this.

Fuck those cows on the view.

  • vincenzo4

Bill S. I would love to meet Gary, tightly clasp his hand in camaraderie, lock sincere eyes with him and thank him for being a man of honor and humility who has helped so many of us just by being him. There are no words for anyone who disrespects any of us, much less Gary.

I could easily lash out some four letter words, summon the courage and justify getting one or a few of them in an alley and willing get seriously hurt knocking out a few of their silly assed teeth outside some gourmet coffee bar or BMW Dealership, these weak, willing fools.

What would that do, make me feel tired from unleashing some pent up anger, and validate everything these people disrespect.

They need to be taught the lesson Obama is serving. Only then will they sit and want to understand us like they have every wealthy, overeducated coward scum bag that has tried to collapse this gorgeous country we so passionately love.

I suspect this country will love us even more preciously than they did the afternoon of 9/11, because Obama and his crew will take us to the brink.

In Valor There is indeed hope.
