Barry’s wealth redistribution program requires an (actually) unbelievable growth in the economy to even meet its presently horrible deficit projections. A continuing contraction tanks the whole thing.
That’s why this fuck is working so hard to stop what would likely end up being a normal (for Capitalism) yet painful contraction of the economy.
Remember that we survived the 87 ‘crash’ (market lost ~ 24% in one day) without all this ‘bailout’ bullshit and the supposed New Deal with all the money FDR spent did no good at all.

The only thing Krugman is right about is that the so called ‘toxic’ assets are woefully undervalued.
It’s mostly real estate.
Also, a good deal of those ‘mortgage bundles’ were sold all over the world… quite a bit to China. Who now it appears is essentially lending Barry the money to buy them back.

These fucks have no business mucking around in the biz world. They are way over their head.
