It’s those little things that makes a hunt memorable.

Too bad Mr. Moose didn’t finish the job and hang this comedian out to dry.

Tred Barta had the same thing happen, he screemed and dropped his bow, ran like a bitch, it was all very funny

by the way he did get his moose.

This idiot has no business bow hunting if he can’t take that animal from that range, then leave it wandering around wounded while he and his buddy hide out and talk about what a close call it was.

That’s how you hunt with a bow. After your animal is hit, you leave it alone and let it die. You don’t want it to die struggling, afraid, and thrashing about. It’s cruel and it ruins the meat.

Where is that petting zoo?

SCNATIVE, HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BOW HUNTING? YA SOMETIMES YOU CAN KNOCK IT DEAD FRON THAT RANGE, BUT MOOSE ARE HUGE AND HARD TO TAKE DOWN, AND IF YOU DONT HIT THEM RIGHT IN THE VITALS THAT THING WILL GO FOR A WHILE.

You might want to turn off the caps lock and turn on the spell check guy. As far as (minus the caps)”… and if you don’t hit them right in the vitals that thing will go for awhile”, I thought I got that point across in the post seeing the hunter himself stated he was all of about six feet or so from it when he released.
With respect to my capabilities using a bow, I taught archery years ago and regularly made my own arrows; you know, the wooden kind. I was able to hit a quarter consistently within two shots from at least thirty feet using a recurve bow- no sights, no stabilizer, no nothing like on a compound. Did I hunt with a bow? No. I didn’t see the point in putting an animal in that pain level should I miss my mark. But that’s just me I guess.
