I am a retired military SF soldier, when I read about this I had to do some more research, and sure enough I am completely outraged!!! When he said that service was our choice and so we should have to pay for injuries…. WTF!!!!! Sorry but I was proud to put my life on the line and defend this country! When I came home from things I did, I was never welcomed home with banners or a thank you. But that was ok then cause it was my CHOICE to go and defend! It is cause of people like me and all other service members that make it even possible for this guy to even be able to have the oppurtunity that he does! And when he said that we knew the risks if we joined.. that we could go into combat… HELL I went in knowing what job I took WOULD send me to combat! And now you want us to pay for putting our lives on the line for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is just the perfect way to really make it so nobody that is either military, prior military, related to anyone in the military, or in fact any American that IS proud that there are people to sacrifice for freedom, REALLY REALLY pissed off!!!

Patty Murray is trying to make up for voting for every big liberal spending bill known to mankind. She is my senator and when I asked her not to spend our grandchildren’s money, she send out a boilerplate diatribe explaining away her bad behavior. If Pelosi and Obama tell her to vote for something, Murray would say “How many times?” She is an idiot and the poster child for TERM LIMITS FOR ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS!!!

I hope to GOD he is not even thinking of doing this!! How many O supporters have vets in their families?? I hardly think anyone who does is stupid enough to have voted for him.

I DO care about those in my family who have served their country, A disabled uncle who did two tours in Vietnam, a step dad who was sick as hell after sitting in Agent Orange for a year, and a step brother in Iraq. These are our brothers and sisters risking every thing when they could be sitting on their butts watching t.v. or going to college in a nice cushy university. This should not have ever been brought up for discussion at all.

I read this on townhall and thought it is an attempt to create racial divide the military and for her to play nice while Obongo fucks them from behind.
If they care so much why are they cutting their funding?? And sending them to Astan to work with the taliban?? There are some serious sinister motivations here.

You have to post the truth when you put someone on the web. The new Secretary of the VA is the one who suggested this. Obama did not. AND the members of congress told him to forget it, because it was dead in the water if he ever sent anything of that sort to congress. So at least some people support our military.
