John Travolta wouldn't stand a chance comparatively. Pilots aren't the average citizens. Most could stay cool if the house around them were on fire. I wouldn't want stupid clown in airplanes with guns......just look at some of the dregs that have been hired lately to be the Federal Air Marshal. Having good pilots armed is a way of having at one person on the plane to stop terrorists.
