Today the Democrats invited a surprise celebrity guest to testify in Congress about Global Warming.(Guess who?) So the Rebublicans invited their own celebrity. Since he knows what he’s talking about, and Gore doesn’t, Democrats prevented Lord Christopher Monckton, the noted expert and Global Warming Sceptic, from speaking.
Lord Christopher Monckton, who served as science adviser to former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, was invited to appear with Al Gore at a House panel hearing Friday. But House Democrats, led by Rep. Henry Waxman, canceled the appearance. Shortly after the hearing, Monckton gave his account to “The Savage Nation” and explained why Al Gore and other “alarmists” are wrong about “global warming.”

I heard part of this on Savage’s show. There was another scientist on a Conservative Radio show, I wish I could remember which one, that explained the science behind global climate. It was an actual global climate expert.
The upshot was that, in reality, a rise in greenhouse gasses was a FOLLOWING indicator to global warming. According to him, we need a way to HEAT up the planet, not cool it down.
In other words, the SUN causes global warming, and greenhouse gases rise AFTER the warming has taken place, not causing global warming. Plant life thrives in a warmer climate, therefore giving off more greenhouse gas.
Maybe that was what was hoped for by the political Left!
Maybe the Left thought they would be further along politically, by now, proving their greenhouse gas controls agenda cooled the planet.
Much like a scientist in King Arthurs court might know a total eclipse of the sun will happen on a certain day and used it to his political advantage. In this case, the scientist could not get their bullsh*t story out, properly, in time, and the World is cooling before they could accomplish their political goals.
Too bad for them.
It’s all a ploy to increase the power of the Federal government. Remember in the late 70’s the ice age was imminent. Carter has nothing on this jerk-off.

Exactly what I don’t under stand. Why do dems have the authority to say who can and who cant testify at congress? Whats the rule in this situation? Any one know?

Lord Monckton knows a lot more about Global Warming than Al Gore who will be laughing all the way to the bank if America ever signs on to a cap and trade agreement. Marsha Blackburn grilled Gore who tried to laugh off her suggestion that he would make a lot of money. He kept saying that in the past he’s given all the money to fund global warming awareness. Of course that wasn’t the question she was asking him and he never said he wouldn’t keep the money in the future.
