An insidious, treacherous, anti-military, anti-democracy and anti-capitalist organization called “Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America”, IAVA, is posing as a veteran’s aid and support group in an attempt to turn the last non-Leftist bastion of America into the Left’s mightiest arm of real force.

They are dedicated to one mission, and one mission only: indoctrinate the average service member into a Leftist ideologue loyal to George Soros’ and Obama’s neo-Marxist revolution. Go to this link and scroll down to the bottom, and you will see the IAVA’s “report card” on politicians’ performance as supporters of the troops. John McCain is given a D, Barack Obama a B.

George Soros is a financier of the IAVA. ( From Blackfive: But Burden says what really bothers him about IAVA’s report card is its insistence that its grades are nonpartisan. He points to IAVA’s funding: Jonathan Soros, son of liberal financier George Soros, is sponsoring the group’s annual dinner next month. At the same time, the IAVA uses technology provided by Democracy in Action, a self-described “progressive nonprofit” that provides discount services to liberal groups. And, Burden points out, Rieckhoff once delivered the Democratic response to one of President Bush’s radio addresses.) They used to operate under the moniker Operation Truth before they came up with the less radical sounding IAVA. Blackfive did an expose on Operation Truth.

The IAVA, led by Paul Rieckhoff, claims to operate as as a “non-partisan” group, but as you can tell by both the report card linked above, and the fact that Rieckhoff blogs exclusively for the Huffington Post as the face of the IAVA, they are anything but. You can put the fact that Rieckhoff makes such a bluster about his alleged “firecely non-partisan” stance into the “Me thinks thou do protest too much” file.

Anyone who operates behind such a curtain of blatant deception is a coward, a predator, and fits the vernacular appellation of “weasel”. Don’t presume that the term “traitor’ hasn’t come to my mind, either.

    It is alarming that a group like this is being formed up and financed. It tells me that Soros-Obonga fear veterans the military and sense the need to co-opt it. Why? Could it be that Soros-Obonga are planning to bull through some important trip wires during the next four years that might foment rebellion? If so, they want to try to get as much of the military on their side as possible.

    It will mostly fail. It will only attract the disaffected military man and woman, and perhaps those already Leftist in their thinking.

    Even though it will fail, I find it an ominous sign of what might be in the offing.

    I just checked Riechoff’s bio and he is a graduate of Amherst College, which is a known hotbed of “progressivism”/socialism/Marxism. He graduated from there in 1998, and those of us who follow education trends know that the kids coming out of high school and college in the Nineties were better indoctrinated than they were educated.

    He is a shill, and should be shunned by all fellow officers and enlisted people.

    A troubling factoid: Those who serve in the National Guard take an oath to the governors and to the President. Regular armed forces take an oath to the Constitution and to defend it from all enemies foreign and domestic.

    I expect that most of the military will be on our side, but there will be significant praetorian units that go over to Obonga’s side in a civil war/rebellion.

    One of George Soros’ friends, one of the transnational oligarchs, a Canadian expat who lives in China and has settled himself into Chinese business and political life, is a man named Maurice Strong. He’s a billionaire, like Soros, just not as wealthy. He calls himself a socialist in ideology, but a capitalist in methodology. He claims that by 2012 everything will be in place to put the United States under full international law and supervision.

    Just to clarify, the oath for the National Guard is to the Constitution FIRST, and to LAWFUL orders from the Governor and President. Please note:

    “I DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR (OR AFFIRM) THAT I WILL SUPPORT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AND OF MY STATE AGAINST ALL ENEMIES, FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC; THAT I WILL BEAR TRUE FAITH AND ALLEGIANCE TO THEM; AND THAT I WILL OBEY THE ORDERS OF THE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE GOVERNOR OF MY STATE AND THE ORDERS OF THE OFFICERS APPOINTED OVER ME, ACCORDING TO LAW AND REGULATIONS. SO HELP ME GOD.”

    This oath in no way precludes the National Guard from defending the Constitution from a State or Federal government (Governor or President)intent upon destroying it, in fact, requires it.

    As one who graduated from UCSB in 2004 (Anthropology) I can tell that the liberal indoctrination of students is no joking matter. The professor (Shankar Aswani) found out that I and another student were ex-military. One day he pulled us BOTH aside after class and proceeded to inform us on how “bad” the U.S. military was, not only historically, but currently. Aswani’s view frames the United States as an imperialistic country who has done nothing but cause problems for many indigenous peoples. His mind-set is very narrowly focused and certainly doesn’t take into account the demands and dynamics of any large polity such as the United States. Much more could be stated on this, however, Aswani’s attitude and forthrightness towards us seemed determined, anti-american, and downright creepy…in fact, I had other professor’s who had similar views that were extremely anti-capitalistic and agenda driven…These people are here to undercut and overthrow the U.S. That much is clear….

    Rieckhoff is so non-partisan he was silent for weeks when the Democrats wanted to privatize veteran’s disability benefits. As soon as Obama removed it, he released a glowing press release praising Obama for doing so. Rieckhoff would cut off his left arm if he thought it would benefit his right.

    I was suspicious of this group when I heard their radio ads. In one ad, after stating that it was hard to adjust at home, a kid’s voice said, Daddy, did you have to shoot anybody?’ and I knew it was a left-wing organization.

    The left does this so much. Copycat organization is one term, but there is another I can’t think of. Protective coloring or something like that.

    They do it with churches, education, everything.

    Someone from the Ad Council contacted me about putting info on my blog about the ad above and the vet forum they were setting up with IAVA. I wrote back that there was a lot of IAVA’s stuff I didn’t agree with and I thought the Ad Council had pretty much turned into a Nanny for grownups. Supposedly, a member of IAVA was to call me and discuss my concerns with me. Never heard from them – wonder if they read my blog…

    I just won’t hang with people who call our wounded warriors “broken” or victims.

    Plus, I’ve been around too many Vets for Peace, etc. types not to smell a lib from a mile off.

If you google his name or IAVA, you get a big list of hits from left-wing anti-war moonbat sites & organizations that support & associate with him. His organization once had a function that was sponsored by Air America, of all people. :shock:

    It seems he is the go-to guy for all the lefty types who want to say they “support the troops”, and who need a veteran who agrees with their views that they can parade before the cameras, so they can say “See? Even THE TROOPS agree with us!”

    I noticed from reading quotes from him that he not only parrots the lefty Democratic talking points, but also attacks anyone (such as Joe Lieberman, or those two congressmen who visited Iraq after the surge & said that things had improved beyond what they expected) who says that the Iraq War is being won. It’s like he WANTED us to lose in Iraq, and has to attack anyone who disproves that claim as a “chickenhawk”. :evil: Not to mention the fact that he writes in the smug, condescending style arrogant libtards use when they are addressing people they consider ignorant and inferior to themselves.

    I’ll bet that Rieckhoff in the future ends up running for office as the next John Kerry or Murtha. :roll:

    Thanks Pat…I tried to uncover the financing on this group sometime ago with no success. Something told me there was something wrong with the IAVA…those hairs on the back of neck again…I looked up Rieskhoff’s hsitory and decided he had no way of funding the group himself…I was right…always follow my intuition…I have never had anything to do with them…

    Rieckhoff is a traitor my friend! I have said and this Navy veteran means it.

    IAVA supporters infiltrated Clinton and McCain campaigns last year, neither was aware of this…I told you about the e-mail I got in Montana I wasn’t supposed to see!

    By the way my first boyfriend in the Navy was an independent corpsman…he found me after 24 years!

    The movie is to be called “Keeping the Faith.”

    Kerry, who came to prominence years ago after serving in the Vietnam and criticizing the conflict, was asked to join the project by veterans, said his spokeswoman Whitney Smith.

    “Senator Kerry was approached by friends in the veterans community to be part of a project that sheds light on an often overlooked topic, namely the brave men and women who have sustained debilitating injuries in Iraq,” Smith said.

    These motherfuckers need to be called out at every chance – Pat and his colleagues should put this on the high-priority list, such that they do not gain a foothold as IVAW did (hmmm, the acronyms even sound similar)- 50% of IVAW’s membership is fraudulant, yet they managed to taint hundreds of reports and stories with their bullshit before being called out. IAVA needs to be put in its place at the gate so that they cannot spread their propaganda.
