WTP:

VIENNA, Va. — David Kellermann, acting chief financial officer of Freddie Mac, committed suicide in his Hunter Mill Estates home Wednesday morning. He hanged himself.

Fairfax County Police spokeswoman Mary Anne Jennings tells WTOP police responded to the Kellermann home after family members called police at 4:48 a.m.

“We were called from inside the house to come investigate an apparent suicide,” Jennings says.

“We’re not going to give you details of the condition of the body, except to say it was an apparent suicide.”

A medical examiner will make the final determination that the death was a suicide.

Police on the scene tell WTOP Kellermann’s body was found on the home’s lower level.

The Kellermann home, which has two floors above ground and a three-car garage, sits on the corner of Raleigh Hill Road and Brittenford Drive in picturesque Hunter Mill Estates, a neighborhood of single-family homes outside of Vienna, just over the border from Reston. According to Fairfax County tax records, Kellermann’s home is assessed at $898,440.

Neighbors tell WTOP they are surprised to hear about Kellermann’s suicide. They knew him, his wife and young daughter from neighborhood parties and the pool.

“I’m in total shock. This is a wonderful family. This is the last thing I would have ever expected,” says Susan Unger who lives across the street from Kellermann. “I’m saddened. It’s awful.”

Unger’s husband Paul says Kellermann was a “terrific guy.”

“We’re just shocked beyond belief. This is just a wonderful family — very family oriented,” Paul Unger says.

Kellermann, 41, had been with Freddie Mac for more than 16 years.

He had been named acting chief financial officer in September 2008, taking over after Anthony “Buddy” Piszel resigned. Freddie Mac’s CEO David Moffett resigned last month.

Government-controlled Freddie Mac, based in McLean, has been criticized heavily for reckless business practices. Some say those practices contributed to the nation’s housing and financial crisis. Freddic Mac owns or guarantees about 13 million home loans.

As CFO, Kellermann was responsible for the company’s financial controls, financial reporting and oversight of the company’s budget and financial planning.

Freddie Mac released this statement about Kellermann’s death:

“The Freddie Mac family is truly saddened by the news this morning of David Kellermann’s death. We extend our deepest condolences to David’s family and loved ones for this terrible personal tragedy.

David was a man of great talents. He dedicated those talents to Freddie Mac for more than 16 years, serving in many business and finance capacities before recently taking the reins as acting chief financial officer. His extraordinary work ethic and integrity inspired all who worked with him. But he will be most remembered for his affability, his personal warmth, his sense of humor and his quick wit. David was a friend to many in the Freddie Mac family, and we mourn his passing.”

    Dont believe it.

I wonder if he knew too much.

Is he involved with Nancy Pelosi’s Husband’s illegal Freddie Mac deal?

Death by hanging is a dramatic way to go. A gun, a razor blade in a warm bathtub or pills would be the death de jour of the common person.

Hanging is kind of Old School. It smells like a suicide in a novel, or a REALLY old spy work book.

Remember that guy that was a supposed suicide after the Kennedy assassination? It was said that two guys threw him out of an 8th floor hotel window.

  • CPLViper

He found something. Either a much bigger problem in which he couldn’t handle or something someone didn’t want him to find. I am assuming he was ‘alone’ when he tied the noose??? Hmmmm.

    • FLINT89

Well of course he’s alone. I mean do you know anyone who publicly commits suicide, other then those on COPS? Nope, everyone does it alone so noone can stop them. Plus, if someone took him out, I doubt they’d have done it quietly. Plain and simple no one gets put in a noose without a struggle. Plus, it’s a hell of alot easier to just gun him down and say it was a bunch of “right wing extremists”.

Is the word “apparently” possibly tied to our illustrious chief of thieves? Man…these people are spooky!!!

Suicide my ASS! Looks like Donald Young has met his match.

  • dogbert41

Yeah, of all the suicides, who hangs themselves these days? Well, actually, knew of a woman who hung, poisoned and shot herself…Really wanted to make sure I guess.

  • Randy

Where does this fall in Alinskys master plan?

    • http://www.easystreetstudio.etsy.com tlk

      Weather Underground… :?:

  • Scoot

There’s CIA memos being released, the new green agenda going on, bank stress tests are done, and the apology tour of South America. I’m sure I’m missing something else, but we have to think about how these guys love to keep us misdirected.

Could any of this be linked with this guy’s apparent suicide? Or, is this apparent suicide a misdirection for something else all together?

  • deathstar

What Obama fuck up was he about to leak?

  • Sully

    C YA Dave.

Now if only the Climate Change troofers would take a similar ‘drop’….

  • usmctanks

If he was one of the good guys then this is prob a cleanup operation. If he was one of the bad guys then he saved us the “front lawn military tribunal” later!!
Or who knows maybe his wife was cheating on him and he was weak and nutless like most civil servants and he cried himself all the way to the end of the rope…..
I think that barney frank is involved……..

    • http://worddrum.wordpress.com/ Word-Drum

Barfy Frank had a boyfriend at Fanny (or Freddie Mac).

Are there still journalists? Or is there no where for them to work in the MSM?

  • SgtJenz

Not a believable story. If you’ve decided to murder yourself why not do it quick? Shotguns are cheap, and pistols are available in calibers sufficient enough to do the deed. Hanging is a slow painful way to die.

I’ll believe this story when I see the “little Hitler” of Iran convert to Christianity.

    • http://www.easystreetstudio.etsy.com tlk

      I’m with you..I don’t believe it either!

  • md_vet

    Another “Vince Foster” suicide….

guess all the park benches were full… :!: :!:

    • Jarhead68

My thoughts exactly. And, interestingly enough, all of the people Obama has brought into the star chamber are Clinton acolytes. Who better than to Fosterize this poor bastard. What reason could he have for offing himself? Depression?

  • GBU43

    MD_Vet beat me to it.

    Two words: “Vince Foster”

Funny how people associated with liberal presidents end up dead when they might have information that could incriminate or embarrass.

  • 0311inOHio (I didn’t drink the kool-Aid)

No doubt about it! Assisted suicide!!

Who wants to be official scorekeeper in the Clinton v. Obama suspicious deaths match? Time to start counting.

    • American Woman

That was my first thought, here we go again. Yet another aspect where Obongo has wasted no time.
Noone kills themselves when there is someone in the home. He must have been kicking around and making some kind of noise. Hanging isnt exactly quick.
A bullet to the head or pills seem to be the most popular methods.

      It is a shame though.

  • http://www.myspace.com/frankensubie brotherscoobs

assisted suicide? or perhaps just a really guilty concience?

  • wisconsin mom

Do you suppose that’s how Hillary got her job? A little exchange of “how to’s”?

Seems Obama has once again fired-up “the bus” but this time it’s not people’s careers and reputations being thrown under it, now it’s whole bodies.

    • MinneSoCold

The….. wheels on Obama bus go thump-thump-thump, thump-thump-thump, thump-thump-thump. The wheels on the bus go thump-thump-thump, all through town.

The people thrown under go squish-squish-squish, squish-squish-squish, squish-squish-squish. The people thrown under go squish-squish-squish, dead comrades don’t speak a sound.

I think he just felt guilty about 16 years of working for an institution that was forcing banks to give out loans to people that would default the nation, that would be enough to make you pop-a-cap in your head,
or in his case stretch his neck.

He woke up one day and realized the damage the government controlled institution had created.

  • http://www.dirtydozensbunker.com Sanders

I wonder if he had his hands tied behind his back and was beaten first, before he hung himself? That seems to happen in these cases. It’s all the rage – you know, just in case you change your mind at the last minute.

  • http://americanwoman296.vox.com Infidel – Twana

Could this be the beginning of a Hussein Obama Hit List

  • Kermit

actually in medical studies the period least likely for suicide to be committed is between 0400 and 0800 AM.

  • Moriah

David Kellermann received the ‘Vince Foster’ treatment. Funny how when Democrats are in office there’s a rash of accidents, suicides and small plane crashes. He worked for Freddie Mac for 16 years (too long and too much information) The Mob has nuthin’ on the Dems.

  • Randy

How many Fannie Freddie execs were either employed by the Obama campaign or are currently paid advisors to his administration. Hmmmmm.

    • http://www.easystreetstudio.etsy.com tlk

How would you like to work for that m-fer??? NOT A CHANCE!! I found out from working for another government entity that it was necessary to strap a damn couch cushion to my back every day!! Shit..working under that sick-o would merit a bullet proof vest.

  • Chuck O

I remember a lot of deaths surrounding the Clintons. Could the current admin. just be following suit?

  • mike3481

In 1995 Clinton issued new lending dictates to the banks along with the promise that A.G Reno would investigate the banks for civil rights violations if they didn’t go along.

This guy who whacked himself was at Freddy Mac from 1993 until his death.

I surmise that he suspected a housing bubble and economic collapse since the late 1990′s and kept his mouth shut about what he suspected might happen.

He couldn’t live with the guilt of staying quiet all these years and he chose “The Big Sleep”.

    Sucks to be him.

WHERE ARE THE REPUBLICANS ON DEMANDING AUTOPSIES AND DEMANDING FOR BIG INVESTIGATIONS!!!!!!

There were 2 involved in Passport stuff…. One is still in HILLARY’s State Department and maybe being protected by her and Obama??? Rumors for long-time have been that getting in Obama Passport was to shred documents in his file.

No one was ever investigated for the death of Barbara Wise, who was found dead 1996 in Clinton’s Commerce Department. She was reportedly involved in the internal ivestigation into Hillary and the John Huang contributions. Even though she was beaten to death, there is NO Cause of Death in the report.

I rember seeing somewhere that al least 100 people with political conections to Bill and Hillary died in ‘mysterious’ circumstances in Arkansas and in the 1992-2001 Clinton years. Ya know, the “gas fire” in an all-electric home; one-car crash where the body was dead for hours before the crash; Vince Foster with car trunk carpet-fibers ALL OVER him and his clothes and shot can’t be matched to gun; etc.

How many other deaths and arrests of Patriots will WE tolerate?

    • Hawkerdriver (Pisson the Koran

Well said.Word-Drum beat me to the post regarding Lt.Harris’questionable death regarding his knowledge of the obama passport file. Many evil things affoot here. However,I’m wondering if the guy just wasn’t gettin’any and decided to try the wank & rope perv trick? Not to trivialize..just wondering.I TOTALY underscore the dems being worse than the mafia ever tried to be.

    • unkaglen

It was dangerous to know the Clintons. If people have any doubt they need to view the movie I linked to below.

  • unkaglen

Anyone remember Fort Marcy Park? Something stunk there just like here…….

  • ignifer

since “devil’s advocate” seem to be the curl of this particular thread…i’m not sayin’, i’m just sayin’…
a drugged person could be easily hanged by others.an unconscious or disoriented person could easily be hanged by others. a person who was strangled, especially by rope THEN ‘hanged’ would have marks and presentations very similar to an actual suicide by hanging. even a manual strangling would be ‘plausiblly’similar to a suicide hanging unless more than cursory post-mortem examination was made, and several martial arts moves involve a breaking of the neck, usually from behind using forearms/crook of elbows that would leave little evidence of struggle.but of course thats all movie stuff now isn’t it? art imitates life.stories of palace intrigue are just fiction, no?
nothing would surprise me; having said that, it’s time to change the lining in my tinfoil hat…

  • Moriah

Who’s next on Obama’s list? I’d say possibly Blagojevich. Heart attack, accidental drowning, heat stroke, car wreck, suicide, anaphylactic shock, taking a wrong turn off a bridge, alleged mob hit — coming to a news headline near you. He knows where the bodies are buried.

  • WestCoastGirl

Reminds me of the prelude to Vince Flynn’s The Third Option

  • TerribleTroy

Im pretty sure I used to drive through this neighborhood daily on my way from our Company HQ to the NRA HQ Range. It takes ALOT for a filthy rich guy to off himself. Either he was broke, he was going to be the fall guy and end up in prison, or he knew Waay too much. You have to understand this area of Northern Va is home to some very very talented “operators” (I hate that term). It is literally spook central, if you are in a basement with a guy that is telling you that if you dont jump off that chair wth that rope around your neck he’s going to go upstairs and take care of your family in a most heinous manner, you’re probably going to jump.

  • fred

There is probably more to this story than meets the eye. He probably knew things that some very powerful people did not want divulged, so a loose end was tied up (pardon the pun).

  • http://patdollard.com Joe Average

    Pat  All

I think we should all call House & Senate and demand investigations….

On the death of Lt. Harris, Lindsey Graham (R-SC) claims to be and ex-JAG guy….This should be a “balls to the walls” investigation of Obama vs Military, and a way for Military to step into Obama with both feet and guns A’blazin!!!!!

Ya know, what about protest & pickets, like stuff with Atlanta child murders, Amber’s Law, Polly Klass, that kind of thing. SHUT DOWN WASHINGTON in anti-Obama Protests.
