I know there are some people saying that the reaction to these killers was too much. But the link between those that kill and torture small animals and serial killers and child killers is very direct. Hopefully these 4 have now been identified as potential killers of “people” and will be monitored for years to come.

Very true. It’s unfortunate that the only charge these scumbags would be hit with was “Cruelty to animals”, with a max term of 2 years. HOWEVER – upon hearing those threats, the Deputy could have filed additional CRIMINAL charges against them for “Terroristic Threatening”, which could be a felony charge depending on the degree of the threat and likelihood of it being carried out.

Would have been a lot easier for the Deputy to have said “excuse me for a minute, Marcus – I have to make a call to headquarters” and left them with him for 10 minutes or so.

You know … “necessary force to effect an arrest” and all that

Slightly backwards, but reasonably accurate
The way it works is this – since ALL Murders are felonies …

If – acting in concert with one or more others and committing any other felony – any other person killed results in a murder being charged against ALL participants, whether or not they participated in the actual killing. IOW, even a driver of a getaway car nowhere near the scene of the crime would also be charged with murder should one happen during the commission of a crime.

I looked at his myspace page, his girlfriend is a dog, surprised he didn’t shoot her too.
And there is a picture of him with dogtags, hoping like hell he is military, that might be the way to charge him instead, through them not civilly.

Here is my list of things that should never happen,
1. Mistreatment of women, especially your wife
2. Mistreatment of children, they are a gift from God
2. Mistreatment of the elderly
3. Mistreatment of anyone with special needs (sorry PC)
4. Mistreatment of animals

I can’t think of what I would do if they killed my dog.
This man watched his team give all, and almost the same for himself. I wish there was something we all could do to help Marcus.

God bless him for showing those two scumbags how a real man handles adversity.
