Every time I see a chopped-up news video like this, it pisses me off. Standard MSM operating procedure: go to a couple of news conferences, take some quotes out of context, splice together some stock footage, and have some peon overdub the narrative, all neatly packaged up in a two-minute bundle for the six o’clock news. Meanwhile the viewer is left wondering: what else did the guy at the news conference say? Was it important? Why was that one guy swearing at the media types? What exactly happened on that ship? And so forth. Those are the types of question the media should be answering.
TV news, the way it’s done these days, is about as useful as listening to the rumours down at the coffee shop.

He’s freeeeeeeeeeeeee!! I just saw the press release and apparently he jumped off the pirate’s dingy again for the 2nd time to try and escape. Then Navy seals sniped the 3 pirate fuckers on the dingy hahahah fucken awesome. Must be tough shooting on a boat’s pitch and roll, godddam professionals they are. 1 pirate was on the us navy vessel negotiating and he’s now a prisoner. I hope he gets waterboarded and assraped by a bayonet. Send him to our new Gitmo off of the coast of Maldives.
