I made an extremely careless error when I was speaking with Pat on the show tonight.

I mistakenly identified the awards being bestowed during the ceremony as Congressional Medals of Honor. That was extremely thoughtless and I have no excuse. I am and have been for many years fully aware of the incredibly high military honor of the Medal and what must be done to earn this honor. My respect for recipients of the Medal of Honor is limitless.

It was a stupid, thoughtless mistake to make and if anyone listening was offended or thinks I’m an idiot I completely understand and I apologize.

I believe that the correct award was the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a civilian award given for national service. I have a great deal of contempt for many of the people who received this award that day because most of them didn’t earn it. It was a total farce. The type of “service” performed in order to receive the medal was frivolous to say the least.

I was also mistaken about the name and actual status of the gentleman who presided over the award ceremony. It was actually the Duke of Edinburgh, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II.

Everything else I said is true to the best of my knowledge and I firmly stand by it.

    Once again, my apologies.

    Pat,

I suggest that your monologue toward the end of tonight’s JKH was good enough that you should pull it out as a separate downloadable sound file to be available somewhere on the site.

What a great show! That rant was great. So sick of “conservative” bloggers and others that are a bunch of pussies. They want to blog about fighting islamic terrorist, but cant even confront a liberal face to face in an agressive manner. Most sheepishly blush and run away from conservative issues when confronted or try and appoligize. F#ck them. The day of playing nice is over. We played nice and have lost the lead in the debate. We let them dictate the terms. WE ARE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! Never forget that. We are not just ranting with some pie in the sky untried philosophy. WE ARE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Pat, you recommended on last night’s show to become familiar with the “Frankfurt School” and Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.”

Per the former, I found a great web page that a Navy guy wrote in 1999 that covers the Frankfurt School briefly.

Here’s an excerpt (note: this is from 1999, well before hopey-dopey-and-changey):

    ——————-
[snip]…Gramsci, a young communist who died in one of Mussolini’s prisons in 1937 at the age of 46, conjured up the notion of a ‘quiet’ revolution that could be diffused throughout a culture — over a period of time — to destroy it from within.

He was the first to suggest that the application of psychology to break the traditions, beliefs, morals, and will of a people could be accomplished quietly and without the possibility of resistance.

He deduced that “The civilized world had been thoroughly saturated with Christianity for 2,000 years…” and a culture based on this religion could only be captured from within.

Gramsci insisted that alliances with non-Communist leftist groups would be essential to Communist victory.

In our time, these would include radical feminist groups, extremist environmental organizations, so-called civil rights movements, anti-police associations, internationalist-minded groups, liberal church denominations, and others.ME: remember, 1999. Does not have isslam but could today. See book “United in Hate” for all the details on the lefties fellating of isslam.

Working together, these groups could create a united front working for the destructive transformation of the old Judeo-Christian culture of the West.Da pesky Jews! and Christian nuts!

By winning ‘cultural hegemony,’ Gramsci pointed out that they could control the deepest wellsprings of human thought — through the medium of mass psychology. Indeed, men could be made to ‘love their servitude.’

In terms of the gospel of the Frankfurt School, resistance to ‘cultural Marxism’ could be completely negated by placing the resister in a psychic ‘iron cage.’ The tools of mass psychology could be applied to produce this result.

The essential nature of Antonio Gramsci’s revolutionary strategy is reflected in a 1990s book [12] by the American Boomer author, Charles A. Reich, ‘The Greening of America.’

“There is a revolution coming. It will not be like revolutions of the past. It will originate with the individual and the culture, and it will change the political structure as its final act.

It will not require violence to succeed, and it cannot be successfully resisted by violence. This is the revolution of the New Generation.”

Of course this New Generation would be Reich’s elite Boomer generation.ME: Punch a hippie…twice! And the mantra for these New Age ‘foot soldiers’ of the Frankfurt School prophets, would be ‘have the courage to change [13].’ME: note, “courage to change” in 1999!

    Let’s roll.

    • Reloader449

The change in mass psychology has been largely successful. In schools, colleges, many industries and businesses, local and federal governments- and most importantly, Media and Gov’t Bureaucracies. A very large number of Americans are VERY THOROUGHLY brainwashed, and we will not convince them otherwise. Yuri Bezmenov advises us, “they are contaminated … you can show them black is black and white is white, and they will not believe.”

It is a situation rather like the invasion of the body snatchers. They are all around us, they are no longer like us at all, they mean to destroy everything we hold dear, and we have no REAR AREA in this war with them.

One thing that is not made clear by people like Limbaugh, Beck, Coulter, etc. is that U.S. Liberals do not know they are working to DESTROY America for our enemies. They think they are making a better America.

Notice that Gramsci believed that this mass psychology method, The Long March through the Institutions, could not be defeated through violence.

They have already nearly won total victory. We will not easily prevail.

Re: The pussies who maintain a patina of conservatism to not risk their penthouse, etc. (turning a blind eye to the truth about socialism). This is what Frances Scheaffer referred to as “personal peace and affluence” and is why the founders pledged their “lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor” to the revolution. I for one am willing to do the same!

I couldn’t hear the whole show (keep getting kicked off) but I wish I could ask this fellow about where this all started for him. This alternative school? Is this a school set-up for kids who were in trouble and expelled/suspended from regular school? I ask because we can rise up against these schools and their funding, as taxpayers.

  • http://www.thebandofmothers.com Beverly Perlson

I also wonder what would happen if in every single state, in every single town, if we sent folks into every ACORN office and asked them what is their purpose. What would happen if I walk into the ACORN office, 5 miles from my house, and asked them what they are doing, as I understand Obama gave millions of my tax dollars for their activities. Shouldn’t we do that?

    Please advise.

    • Johnny Doe

      Beverly,

No, it was not a school for kids who were in trouble or had been kicked out of school. The curriculum there was based on “experiential education.”

Experiential education is “a philosophy of education that focuses on the transactive process between teacher and student involved in direct experience with the learning environment and content.” The Association for Experiential Education, which I was also involved with, “regards experiential education ‘as a philosophy and methodology in which educators purposefully engage with learners in direct experience and focused reflection in order to increase knowledge, develop skills and clarify values.’”

Experiential education is closely related to “educational progressivism.”

Educational progressivism is “the belief that education must be based on the principle that humans are social animals who learn best in real-life activities with other people. Progressivists claimed to rely on the best available scientific theories of learning.”

At the root of all this you will find the philosophy of “collectivism,” which in essence holds that the individual is nothing, the group is everything, and the the individual must sacrifice himself for the group whenever society, or its representative the state, deems this necessary.

Ayn Rand was absolutely right when she referred to progressive educators as “the Comprachicos of the mind.”

“Comprachicos (also comprapequeños) is a compound Spanish neologism meaning ‘child-buyers,’ which was created by Victor Hugo in his novel The Man Who Laughs. It refers to various groups in folklore who were said to change the physical appearance of human beings by manipulating growing children, in a similar way to the horticultural method of bonsai – or through deliberate mutilation. Allusion to this myth is common in reference to any group or body who seek to alter the minds of children through calculated manipulation.”

That describes leftist “progressive” education perfectly.

As to your question regarding ACORN, it would be a waste of time. They simply will not tell you the truth. They explain who they are and what they do on their website. They’ll feed you this same line. And it’s not exactly as though they’re lying, it’s just that when dealing with the public they use flowery, positive sounding language to disguise the subversive nature of their activities.

Simply put. They talk in code. But the sick thing about it is that the naive and brainwashed people at the lower levels don’t have a clue that that’s what they’re doing. The leadership knows better, however. They know exactly what they’re doing.

  • http://www.Dissent-From-Day-One.com DissentFromDayOneDOTcom

Bev, if I understand Pat’s game plan, we will indeed be facing up to ACORN. All in due time though.

Glad to be associated with you and your outfit!

  • http://www.Dissent-From-Day-One.com DissentFromDayOneDOTcom

political.fish, that reminds me of Ben Franklin’s quote:

“Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.”

  • http://www.thebandofmothers.com Beverly Perlson

So Johnny Doe, you tell me what to do to put a stop to these people. Have they ever had people walk into their office and demand to see what their tax dollars are paying for?

    • Johnny Doe

I wish I could, Beverly. The fact is that unless they’re caught engaging in illegal activity and convicted in a court of law, there is very little that can be done.

I don’t know if anyone has ever walked into one of their offices and made such demands. I suspect that they haven’t, and it probably wouldn’t accomplish much if they did.

I completely understand and share your frustration.

One reason our side is at a serious disadvantage is because we refuse to allow ourselves to be victims. These socialist activist groups appeal greatly to lazy, whiny people with a pathetic victim mentality. They promise to deliver great benefits and windfalls from their “activism” which in reality are just entitlements from the state, seized from productive fellow citizens. We promise no such thing. All we promise is freedom. And these people don’t want freedom because freedom means responsibility. They want everything free, handed to them on a government-subsidized silver platter.

Until this mentality begins to change, things will only get worse. And at this point it doesn’t show any signs of changing. It’s actually growing.

  • http://www.thebandofmothers.com Beverly Perlson

And these lazy whiny peole are what the school you describe breeds! It’s is mind boggling!!!

However, as the economy gets worse, my hope is that things will get uncomfortable for these whiny lazy people because the average working Joe is going to get tired of suppporting these schmucks!

I think the Tea Parties might be a good start to engage folks in a movement against ACORN and their local offices. If I walked into their office, what would they tell me they do there?

  • Johnny Doe

No, that’s not entirely correct. Schools such as the one I attended don’t necessarily turn students into lazy and whiny people, they merely socialize them. Many students go on to become very hardworking indeed, sweating blood for liberal/socialist causes.

The philosophy of “progressive” education is that humans are “social animals.” They are indoctrinated into believing that the most important thing in life is the pack, the group, the society, and, by extension, the state. This type of “education” produces die-hard collectivist disciples and preys upon indolent and irresponsible people by making excuses for them and teaching them not to solve their problems on their own because society and the state owe them something. The hardworking liberal/collectivist disciples believe the same thing (i.e., society, capitalist society in particular, owes something to the lazy and unproductive parasites).

Unfortunately, it really doesn’t matter if the average Joe gets fed up with supporting these people. The federal government is the one who makes that call. Unless millions of Americans start voting liberals out of office by the hundreds and refusing to pay their federal income taxes to finance all this unconstitutional and socialist bullshit, it will be business as usual. And I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

As to your question — again, you can be sure they will not tell you the truth. They explain who they are and what they do on their website. They will simply feed you this same line.

My personal opinion is that there is far too much emphasis being placed on ACORN and the various community activist groups. They’re only a part of the problem, a symptom not the disease. The disease is socialism and the liberal power structure and unless it’s defeated for every ACORN-type group you destroy another will step in to take its place.

Yes, Tea Parties are a good start, but unless they lead to more than just giving people an outlet to release their frustrations they won’t mean very much. It is going to take a lot more than that to save this country. If people go to a Tea Party and then go home thinking “Well, I’ve done my part,” we’re screwed.

  • http://www.thebandofmothers.com Beverly Perlson

I agree Johnny. I sent out an email yesterday asking folks to please consider a directive to give at these Tea Parties, otherwise this golden opportunity will turn into nothing but a whiny party, as the liberals are already painting them. My suggestion, everyone go to work the day after the tea parties and raise their exemptions to the maximum of 15. That has ramifications for their taxes next year and they would need to put that money aside. If there are enough of us, we could determine how to handle next year’s taxes.

From the top down, Obama funded them. We can’t do much about that right now. From the bottom up, it seems we must do something about an organization that committed fraud in this past election and will certainly do it again.

    • tlk

      Good idea!

Preparations are being made for 600+ nationwide Tax Day Tea Party protests on April 15, 2009. These range from small towns to major cities where thousands of Americans may participate.

Just got an email from the director, Ken, of the Tea Party in Olympia, Washington (the one I will attend tomorrow)and Fox News is interviewing him at 3pm today. Ken says the number of people coming to the Olympia (state Capitol) rally has grown considerably in the last three days. Turn out is apparently beyond his expectations. He had to do another recon of parking options in the area.
