On the books there were 47 cancelations sales of new G-Vs, Hawker 800, Cessna Citations, and resales of Bombardiers and Hawkers, etc. Have older brother in “south” and their company had 4 Turboprops that they flew Execs and QC folks to all of the plants every other week. Media came around doing “expose” on Business A/C showing N-numbers on TV and trying to do phone calls to companies, claiming with Obama in office, airplanes were too much of a luxury……it worked, they sold all of them (as did a bunch more pressured by MSM tactics). Their local airport is now about to die. Now, QCs go around once a quarter and Execs once a month…Fly commercial & drive about 6 hrs to-and-from Air Carrier Airports each day on trip. Company now figures almost 40-60 hrs man-hours lost for each QC’s and Exec during travel days since change. WHY IS MEDIA TRYING TO KILL AVIATION......
