Mysterious Black Cat Plagues New York
Halloween is long gone. So what’s up with the black cat sightings near New York’s Tallman Mountain State Park?
Signs posted around the Rockland County park warn the public about “Suspicious Animal Sightings.”
Orangetown police are increasing patrols. State park police have installed cameras in hopes of capturing it on film.
Other sightings were reported in the hamlet of Palisades. One was in a driveway. Two were in a backyard.
These are described as sleek, long-tailed, black felines. They’re larger than mid-size dogs.
No regional zoos, veterinarians or residents have reported a missing large cat.

Chupacabras.
We had mysterious black cat sightings in the Twin Cities area years ago.

Sorry,I have to do it……
poooooooooooooooooooooooosie!
Can’t say I find anything odd about this. Been in toledo Ohio the past three weekends walleye fishing (no luck, has been better to stay in cleveland for Steelhead, tossed another in freezer last night)
Anyway, back on subject, we fish up in Oregon Ohio by the toledo Edison coal fired plant. We have seen what at first we thought was a house cat until we realized it was larger, and we passed it off as either a larger than normal grey fox, which seem quite cat like at times, or possibly a coyote.
The head was what has been throwing us, looked too cat-like for a fox, but that is still a possibility.
Back another very important subject, does anyone have a really good fish smoking recipe that I could vac pac the fish after done to avoid refrigeration need? All recipe’s I have require refrigeration, and that is not practical for a lot of fish. The smoked Steelhead I have done tastes soo close to smoked salmon, thought would be a good item to stock up on, could share with Active members if things hit the fan…
I love cats.
