The new site will be up today. It’s a little early in the Chad hour for direct comm and activity right now. The site itself will be going up in pieces today, so check throughout the day as more sections are added. The process will be complete by the end of the day,

This, fellow ACTIVISTS, is the moment where you enjoin us as authors. Do not feel like the powerless, voiceless recipients of a tool over which you have no input. Also, as it is going up in sections, do not freak out over the absence of something with a fearful, “My God, where is X, how could they leave something so important out”. Some informational segments will be up later in the day as I have some consultants reviewing them, for example. But the big picture point of this paragraph is this: Use the comments section here for now, to give us your input over everything from esthetic/design section and feedback, editorial critique, sectons for types of information you think may be necessary but presently absent, and functioanality and navigation issues, ie, ideas to facilitate both. And please, in the interests of maintainig an attitude of “all for one, one for all”, productivity, please spare everyone the wittiness of your brillitantly worded criticisms of attack and insult, and switc,h the energy behind them into helpful, sincere, suggestions and instructions for direction.

In other news, I am working on closing the addition of a full-time, like-minded blogger to finally unshackle me from the 15 hour-a-day requirements which have rested almost exclusively on my shoulders, which was the result of a vicious and entirely unneccessary attack designed specifically to harm ACTIVE by hobbling my ability to work on it, at a time chosen exclusively because they knew my ACTIVE responsibilites were going into hyperdrive the next day. PINOs. Patriots in Name Only, aka PI-SAGEs: Poseurs Interested In Self-Aggrandizement Exclusively.

And cheers to true ACTIVISTS like Danger Girl who completed the State regional, district and neighborhood breakdowns, and tic, tic boom, John Holzwarth, President of ACTIVE Washinton, and Holger, President of ACTIVE Minnesota, both men of great professional reponsibility who have come on board as occasional, when-can contributors. Running Pat Dollard.com alone is no problem, but as running it with even the help of just one other contributor is still a full time job, the tipping point has been reached, and finding the right folks is the most important activity of ACTIVE at the moment. Your leader is pinned down by enemy fire, in essence, and I am trying to extricate myself from behind this low wall providing me cover, with the help of a QRF force of ACTIVISTs, to get me out safely, and into the ACTIVE COC. Once this happens, every last bit of slow-down which has frustrated many of us will disappear, as I then have the necessary time to fill my ACTIVE role sufficiently. I’ve sent up my red flare, and the first elements of a full QRF team are arriving. Other than those mentioned, Word-Drum has radioed in an intern drop.

Let’s get that mission accomplished, as well as the one of getting ACTIVE 2.0 done by tommorow and polished by Wednesday, which is to say, let us know what other tools you require on the site, and what processes of function can be made simpler, or simply clearer.

Stage 1 has begun. National and State leaders are doing their review of this incarnation of the site. No, this will not be a long drawn-out process, as only their critical, “must-have at the base level” notes will be implemented immediately. Anything larger will be handled tomorrow.

State leaders are setting up their groups within the social network aspect of the site. I hate that word for this site, as it should be Action Network. That’s what it shall now be known as, and keep that in mind as you use the site. The connectivity amongst members built into the site is about activity, political activity, not pick-up activity, and not groups forming around the commonality of an interest in Alsatian fine wines. For instance, members are banned from forming groups, as the groups are strictly limited to those created by neighborhood, local, district, regional and State leaders, for of course, for participation by the respective membership of each, respectively. And again, anyone attempting to contact leadership above their direct leaders, ie jump the chain of command, will first be warned, and then booted. Please keep in mind that this isn’t for the joys of assholosity power-tripping and control freakery, but in order to maintain maximum operational effectiveness.
