Yes, he later said that both sides had failed and said that those impressions were untrue. However, he cannot retract something he did not say. He did not say that Europe has viewed America as arrogant, he said America has been arrogant. :mad: I really wonder how many of his subtle lies are intentional and how many stem from some sort of egotism.
