Obama Thinks Austrian Is A Language

Let me trot out the, “If that was Bush…”

I don’t think GW would have said that though, mostly because he didn’t have diarrhea of the mouth like this fool, but also because he is also smarter than this fool. I don’t think you can call him “fool” enough.

  • Steve Rogers

To quote the eminent philosopher Bugs Bunny, “WHAT A MARROON!”

  • DesignR

Someone should put together a reel of his famous quotes.

He would outdo every President or Vice President that ever lived with his moronic verbal gaffes. He has virtually NO education. He’s a DUNCE!

Biden is in the lead over Obama, but Obama is in the seat of power so his gaffes are more breathtaking!

  • Ty

What about the libtard reporter smiling as if she’s at a Beatle’s concert in the 60′s??? Good Lord.

  • Phil Byler

This means that Obama has little knowledge of European history, after commending Europe for its “leadership” in the world.

What else does Obama not know?

  • Phil Byler

Someone quick: come up with a Katie Couric interview of Obama done with the same effort to embarrass as what Couric did unfairly to Sarah Palin. The difference would be that it would be fair with Obama.

  • Nancy Krumrine

He doesn’t know anything about European history, especially French. Maybe someone should inform him of the French Revolution. It could happen again, here. If he really is a muslim than he may not be surprised if he gets beheaded! Just kiding. We wouldn’t do that here. Just through him in jail where he belongs.

  • NMPatriot

Again… Idiot and embarrassment to this country.

  • 0311inOHio (I didn’t drink the kool-Aid)

    Stupid simple fuck tard..
That is about as nice as I can be. And to just think about 3 years and 9 more months of this….

  • Rhune

I wonder how many keyboards/TVs/Phones/Windows/Monitors Dan Quayle has broke since November.

German is spoken in Austria, however the dialectical changes from actual German make it pretty much its own language (same with Switzerland) An average German student/German speaker will understand about 1/3 of Austro-German. The rest of the time they’ll be like  ?

Still, no Austrian language, so Obama still fails.

    • cor

Obama said ‘I do not speak Austrian’ That is fully OK.

You have to understand that we Europeans have in each country so many dialects that it is ok to say: ‘I do not speak Austrian’.
I’m a Dutchman living for 11 years in Austria now. I can say ‘I speak no Austrian’ I speak fluent (School) German, but speaking to a Viennese I can understand 1/4 what he/she is saying.
In The Netherlands (like Germany, Austria, Belgium) every province has its own dialect. It is okay to say ‘I do not speak Limburgs’ although Limburgs is no Language but a dialect in The Netherlands.

That is why there is no fuzz about this issue in Europe.
In fact Obama made the Autrian reporter a compliment (wow how I hate to say that  )

I think you are finding this all a bit confusing then I suppose in the US it is not common for a Kentuckian to say ‘I do not speak Texan’ (although they cannot understand each other :) ).

    • TedB

I speak some German and my prof from Kiel would not have bought your depiction of understanding only 25% of what they are saying. I have spoken to Osterreichers personally and am calling bullshit. I speak Spanish as well and have lived in Mexico and South America and guess what? I didn’t have problems communicating, even with a friend who is Catalan. I have no trouble speaking with Canadians, Kiwis, Ozzies, Brits, Scots, or Irish.

I think you may have a common problem with accents. Tchuss!

  • Infidel–Eva

Yeah, he was President of the Austrian Club at Harvard too. It was historic because he was the first schwartza to lead the Austrian Club, and they’re so proud!

It would be so funny if the media reported that.

  • Snowman

I have relatives in Austria and they characterize the dialect differences as similar to that of the US South vs. the US Northeast. Either way, BO’s a fuckin’ fool!

  • cor

    @TedB

Can it be that all the foreigners try to accomodate you by trying to speak english?

Heeft u al geprobeerd Nederlands te praten.

Of een bitteke Belgisch ambutant jonk?

Oder a watsch von einer richtige Wiener bekommen das dir den Kopf waggelt?

I do not think I have a problem with that, I think you are a languague miracle
    Servus

  • cor

    @ TedB

    By the way it is:
    Tschüss
and we in Austria hate that. We say ‘Schau’ oder ‘Servus’

  • Infidel–Eva

 cor, how do you say ‘muslim deceiver’ in Austrian?

    • cor

IMy english is not that good that I could explain it to a Hillbilly

  • cor

Guys let us get things right:

My favorite President is Ronald Reagan, my second is George W Bush.
My least favorite is Carter in a close range( :?: ) with Obama.

My favorite talkshow host is Rush Limbaugh (he’s great, we do not know something like that in Europe).

I think Obama sucks. But please it is possible ( :?: ) that he can do some things right (maybe by accident)

Let us keep an open mind an not call each other names when in principle we agree. A 100% agreement is just wishfull think.

    • Infidel–Eva

 Touched a nerve huh? The Austrian translation for ‘muslim deceiver’ has probably been outlawed.

You’re so right, lets not be calling names like hillbilly. That would be a eurotrash way to behave.

  • Ms. Bierba

 one & done for Mr. O! I lived in Austria and speak German/dialect.The level of ignorance for a US president is astounding. The press will leave him alone becase as all good puppets they only do and say what they are told.
