Today, April 30th, we Dutchmen normally celebrate `Queensday´. It´s rare, because the whole Royal family shows themselves in public and even take part in, sometimes oldfashioned, games. They accept gifts from the public, wave, the young princes and princesses get kisses. A not-of-this-earth happening and a few of the last still standing events a Dutchmen can be proufd of because it´s just a fenomenal and exceptional but most of all patriotic event that nowhere else in the world happens. This morning a car almost hit the open bus in which the royal family was traveling towards the palace called `Het Loo` to make themselves a bit comfortable before the last part of ´Queensdays` would start.
