Three of ABC’s Traitors: Brian Ross, Mathew Cole, and Joseph Rhee

ABC News has decided that their news department’s responsibilities exclude the security of a nation today. Normally I would sacrifice space here for the entire story, simply placed here for you to read, however in this instance I have decided to simply leave it at my intellectual take on ABC’s lack of concern for the country’s security. Read the story if you’d like, but I will give the gist here.
The gist of the story is to display that ABC has gained knowledge that, under ordinary circumstances, would be considered a state secret. As ABC’s agenda has repeatedly violated the security of state secrets, it does not surprise me that ABC has allowed its people to step out on the limb just a bit further this time by not only naming key personnel associated with an intelligence agency that is directly responsible for obtaining intelligence against the enemies of our country. The complicity between ABC and CBS during the “Rathergate” scandal seemed a bit more like party favors than journalism. In this case, the journalism is once again lacking. The story is along the lines of hanging out to dry the very people who were tasked with keeping every citizen of this country safe. At times, that task calls for unsavory techniques be used in order to fulfill the responsibility. The three ABC reporters that collaborated on this story are inherently ignorant to the very task, and should they have any idea what they are doing, are guilty of treason. But they will, as typical left wing extremist supporters, be given a pass on the damage that they have done. The damage that they have done, they have done for the express purpose of furthering a precedent that should not be set. The precedent that those who are willing to protect us, are subject to scrutiny beyond the norm.
Quickly looking back, it is quite apparent that the ink hasn’t even dried on the history books with concern to a certain Valerie Plame incident, where prosecutions were undertaken because a simple mistake was made and an employee of the Central Intelligence Agency was mentioned by name. During that period in history, a prosecution was established based on the allegations that lies were told during an investigation, and a conviction was handed down on trumped up charges of perjury to a certain Scooter Libby, primarily because the prosecuting attorney had no real evidence regarding any wrong doing. The very last mistake that Mr. George W. Bush made was to not offer full pardon. Afterall, I can remember a certain pardon handed down from Clinton to an admitted cocaine smuggler and money launderer. So what does this have to do with ABC? Read on.
ABC, along with CBS, perpetuated the fictitious story that Karl Rove had “outed a Central Intelligence Agency covert operative”. They didn’t print, broadcast, and distribute the story once. They did so repeatedly in an effort to drum up a sense of anger that President George W. Bush’s administration had violated the public trust in ways that placed the safety of its citizens in harms way. It was page one on their web sites, it was top of the broadcasts on television, and it was the most perpetuated distribution at the time. The stories were designed specifically to damage the reputations of the administration personnel, and the stories were as fictitious as they come. Plame was quoted as being nothing more than a clerical worker for the Central Intelligence Agency, by none other than the Central Intelligence Agency. She had no covert role, no spy in the sky risk. She didn’t even have a security clearance higher than Secret, depending on who one believes, which is the standard clearance given to most military personnel upon enlistment. Her duties included no intelligence gathering, nor did they include any contact with the intelligence gathering community, again depending on who one believes. Yet, a conviction arose from the mere mention of her name during a press briefing. It has been argued that Valerie Plame had been a covert officer. Wiki-pedia, as reliable as one wishes to credit it, gives the oft repeated version that Plame was a high speed low drag operator. Whether at one point she was or not, her duties during the press briefing that comes into question did not place her in a role that would have jeopardized any ongoing covert operations, nor did it place her in harm’s way, nor did it establish a breach of security at the agency. The agency itself said it during the proceedings. Why would they lie about it during a federal investigation if it wrecked their work ?
Alright, I am on point here. What ABC has done in their recent story is to out the so called “designers” of the “torture” techniques that were employed during the previous administration. The two “designers” were psychologists who were working directly with the covert operators in the field, on foreign soils, during times of interrogation of known enemy combatants and known enemy operators. ABC not only has name them specifically by name, but they posted their pictures for the world to see, paparazzi style, captured at places that the two gentlemen had no idea that their pictures were being taken. If you see the pictures, they will tell you the same story. ABC mentions several times that the ACLU and organizations such as the ACLU have declared that the “enhanced techniques” were “torture”, yet they don’t offer any counter to that. I wonder why, he asks rhetorically. Because they have a specific agenda to push another prosecution forward. The prosecution of those responsible for devoting their lives to protecting you, me, our families, every one of us fully knowing that their job was not only thankless, but probably never to be known about. That is, until ABC’s reporters began to perpetuate the left wing agenda, without apology, without denial, and without regard to the destruction with which it resides.
Right now, as I sit here, I am fully aware of the game that is being played. It was entirely unacceptable and even argued as criminal to merely mention the name of an employee of the Central Intelligence Agency during George W. Bush’s presidency, but somehow, right now, 100 days into the illegitimate presidency of the very first Marxist/Socialist President of The United States, it is perfectly acceptable not only to name two agents proven to have been covert operatives, as admitted by ABC in their story. Somehow I don’t see a response from the current administration levying criminal charges against the three named individuals who violated the very principles that keep this nation safe. The next twenty-four hours will tell if the administration is serious about the idea of keeping this country safe.
If we see charges filed against these three individuals impersonating not only journalists, but human beings, we can sit back, relax and appreciate that the transparency promised wasn’t just another puff of smoke blown in the general direction of the nation’s collective posterior. If, within 24 hours, no prosecution is mounted, you can bet your bottom dollar that not only did a Marxist/Socialist attain one of the most powerful positions in the world, but he did so through an assisted coup.
