In response to the lifting weights comment...Not long ago my wife told me that she felt as though the lord was telling her that we needed to be in better shape (neither of us is overweight). Not just thinner but,mountain climbing, river swimming, rifle and pack humpin MARINE CORPS shape! I agreed because I felt the lord doing the same in my life.....after talking with other christian friends I discovered that they also felt the same draw to train. Is this something that anyone else has felt? And if so what are you doing about it? If you really feel the WWIII is on our front door step than you'd better get ready! Have you quit smoking? Have you quit drinking a 12 pack a day? I smoked and drank in the CORPS but I was also 17.... I could stay up all night long drinking,smoking and show up in morning formation still drunk and function all day in a semi-normal manner!If you're older than 25, don't workout and you think you could keep up with a 19 yr old Marine or Soldier you're lying to yourself! If you can't run 5 miles without throwing up you're lying to yourself! If you have no PROFESSIONAL firearms training and you think you'll be an asset on the battlefield than you're lying to yourself! In an urban or gorilla action you will need to be able to shoot and scoot or you will be dead and SO WILL THE PEOPLE depending on you! It's time get ACTIVE people.....Every single ACTIVE member should be involved in in preparing for what we all know to be coming! GOD,Family,Country,Corps!!
