There are two ways to look at this: Fight or flight. (Freezing is NOT an option!) I suggest that you do make contingency plans, as all of us probably already have begun, AND make plans to stand up against this change. (To coin a miused and abused phrase “Hell Yes, WE CAN). I for one, do not plan to let this happen without taking a stand. (most likely one on high ground with lots of cover and concealment if needed)….I plan to be vocal in my displeasure over these anti-American threats and to rally my friends and family to wake up and be more aware of this threat on the horizon.

Something just occurred to me: this NWO is, for all practical intents and purposes, a modern Tower of Babel. The intent is precisely the same as in the Old Testament tower. They want to build a tower (government) to reach Heaven (ultimate power). This was and still is a usurpation of power which belongs and can only belong to God alone. God was displeased and confused the tongues of the builders so that they could not cooperate in the building of their tower. This condition continued to exist as power to govern was divided among tribes and small governments.

But now these petty powers are being bound up, to use another story, by the power of a Sauron by his One Ring. Satan is marshaling his forces to make his great war on God. We will be forced to decide on whose side we will fight. Let us rally to the banner of Christ. May we never allow our swords to grow rusty or our Bibles to gather dust. Both will be critical.

In the meantime, for those of us whose blood pressure is at dangerous levels, might I recommend Pavel Chesnokov or any Orthodox chant in general.

Are there any Ham radio operators out there that can step up with a communication plan?

I’ve got a Ham license, but no radio equipment or real experience. It would seem we need to get the leaders up to speed with this form of comm.

If the Internet goes down, we have telephones, but for how long and how secure are they?

A Ham setup would not be secure in any effective way against high tech adversaries, but could be used in a pinch.

The best communications plan is none at all……I’ll proceed to prove my point.

All Amateur radio operators hold a federal license to operate a radio within their respective bands that they are licensed for.

When the shit hits the fan, and martial law is declared, it won’t matter whether you are licensed or not, however, what will be important is that you know how to use your radio equipment correctly and effectively.
One who simply picks up a 2-way radio and starts yapping on it trying to get someone on the other end is going to be sorely disappointed when no one answers back.

Amateur operators who have been at it for often decades, already know what to do and where to look for contacts.
Even newbies to amateur radio know enough to contact other ops for coordinating whatever.

My best suggestion is to acquire your amateur radio license NOW, while you can, and practice using it.

The amateur radio service will be one of the first things that will be revoked during martial law since it would allow operators to communicate with other countries as well as tactical comms within local communities.
That won’t matter since most, if not all amateur radio ops will ignore the ruling, and operate anyway.
Any idea tho, that ham radio would not be an effective vehicle, is absurd!

Those interested should contact their local amateur radio clubs, or their local county Disaster Services offices, or ARRL.org

I have a radio, but no license nor experience. U.S. Army ANGRC-9 “Anger Nine”, 1950 era jeep radio, tubes obviously, EMT-proof, 2MHz – 12MHz IIRC, voice or carrier (Morse key). Field generator but no proper antenna and no key unit for Morse code, and needs a battery apparently for the transmit tube heaters. I’ve listened to Radio Moscow on it.
