ACORN Internal Memo Blows Cover Off Its Claims Of “Non-Partisan” Status

Who are they? ACORN is a far-left organization that signs up voters, lobbies for the poor and promotes low-income housing.
The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, ACORN, is a far-left organization that purports to promote the poor and disadvantaged. It is currently being investigated for voter registration fraud in least 14 states, having submitted hundreds of thousands of bogus registrations throughout the country.
ACORN claims to be “a non-profit, non-partisan social justice organization with national headquarters in New York, New Orleans and Washington, D.C..”
And despite its troubling track record, ACORN receives plenty of money from Democrats in Congress. ACORN affiliates in just 11 states are reported to have received more than $31 million in taxpayer funding. And ACORN has plenty of affiliates. Hundreds, in fact.
ACORN founder Wade Rathke also founded the huge public sector union, the SEIU (Service Employees International Union), which also happens to funnel funds to ACORN. Other ACORN affiliates, like the American Institute for Social Justice, also send millions directly to its parent.
Worse, ACORN is competing for $8 billion in Stimulus dough, thanks to President Obama.
So where does the money go? Fox News traced the money to a single, small funeral parlor in New Orleans on Elysian Fields Avenue. It appears to be a bank for ACORN and as many as 268 of its far-left affiliates.

ACORN. A bunch of bitter nuts who should have never been given the access they got to upend the US electorial system the likes of which we have not seen since the days of the Robber Barons. Chicago has always been a bucket of political slime. We should not be surprised that one day they would extend their reach to make a grab for the whole country.

Maybe so but in the mean time I think there is plenty of work to do in regard to becoming intimately acquainted with all these organizations that are receiving funding. Looks like ACTIVE should be hitting the ground running with this.

ACORN will be “Helping” with the 2010 Census,and I will bet that they COUNT MORE DEMOCRATS in those Rep. Districts than are actually there. It is the ULTIMATE power grab.

Well, well, well. The truth always sees the light of day even under intense deception. It’s amazing how MSM and the press weren’t investigating this, but ordinary people and bloggers were able to discover facts without having degrees, credentials and vast resources of the press. Call me a nutjob, but I think the press is no longer capable of reporting & investigating the truth. All major press outlets are now officially tabloid journalism rags and celebrity fodder TV show. Investigative journalism has come full circle and returned to the common people with sense and honor.
I’d like to know where the hell is all the offices of the government that are supposed to be investigating voter fraud. Maybe someone needs to start investigating them. Don’t we have a few congressmen that can speak up. Used to be when I was growing up that if you were found voting crookedly you were given like ten years in prison. Now they are on tv admitting left and right how they did it but the authorities just wink at it. Don’t these idiots know when the voting rights break down so will the country. I guess civil rights made special people and now we have a president who brought this with him and now we will enter the age of the banana republic. God help us.
