Breaking: Modern Conservative.Com Backs Up Pat Dollard.Com’s Attack On Conservative Financiers

Here is my original post on the despicable collapse of Conservative financial support for our troops, and our movement, in general. I don’t care whose list I end up on, it’s time for this issue to be brought out into the open.
I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore!
Time for conservatives with money to STEP UP!

I have spent as long as I can remember as a political activist. It is as deeply imbedded in my DNA as my need to eat or sleep. Anyone who knows me knows that my passion and commitment to Liberty run deep and true and that I have given up much for our cause.
Today finds me angry, angry beyond words.
I have seen the valleys and the peaks of political activism and I have a strong stomach. I have weathered the losses and cherished the victories with a resilience that comes from a faith in America and in her Liberty—a faith that comes from the deep-held conviction that when times are truly perilous, a love of Liberty and a fear for its survival will lull fence-sitters to action.
I am just a regular Jill, an Everyman so to speak. I am one of many who make up the most important element of the conservative grassroots movement: the worker bees…the tireless protectors of Liberty. I am just a girl willing to work my ass off for the Country I love, shoulder to shoulder with so many willing to do the same.
We give our precious time and whatever limited financial resources we have. We forgo time-off with our families and use vacation days, when we have them, to work campaigns or attend events. We delay or give up financial security to fight the fight because that is what we do—it is in our nature to do everything we can do.
And what do those on our side, those with financial means and the ability to fund LIBERTY-PROTECTING things do? They continue to sit back, wring their hands about the sad state of affairs, and then fund the same old, same old. Another check off to the RNC! Another white paper funded! Another panel convened! Because we need more white papers! Because we need one more panel of brilliant conservatives telling us what we already know and agree with, while we activists leave the room saying, “I know, but now what?!â€
WE ARE THE NOW WHAT! We, the grassroots activists. We are the ones battling the left day in and day out, on our own dime and on our own time. And what of our “generals,†those who can, at the very least, pull out their checkbooks à la Soros and Company? They are busy cogitating over logistics and strategies, holding tightly to their purse strings.
And what is the conclusion at the end of each powwow and the end of each pitch? Another white paper and another panel. No matter that we, the grassroots conservative activists— on the front lines of battling the left—lay face down in the mud, running out of resources.
Or, to skip the metaphor . . . we’re sacrificing everything and going broke while conservatives with financial means sit back and watch. They watch us risk our comfort and financial security. They watch the MSM and Hollywood mock and vilify us, wiping sweat from their brows and uttering a private thank you, all the while hiding behind the curtains, indeed—hiding behind all of us.
Where is our George Soros?
While I may hold contempt for the man personally, and despise everything he stands for and supports, I cannot help but appreciate his willingness to back his activists financially and openly.
Soros bought his side time. He allowed them the opportunity to work for those things they believe in (however reprehensible I personally find their goals), and he did so publicly, thus encouraging others of means to saddle up beside him, checkbooks wide open. The combined efforts of a fairly modest amount raised by Soros and Company, $6 million, put Moveon.org in a position to raise $60 million from their pool of regular Joes, with an average gift size of $50.
