Breaking: Voter Fraud? Study Finds That Over 100,000 Overseas Votes May Not Have Been Counted

FOX NEWS: WASHINGTON – One out of every four ballots requested by military personnel and other Americans living overseas for the 2008 election may have gone uncounted, according to findings being released at a Senate hearing Wednesday.
Sen. Charles Schumer, chairman of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, said the study, while providing only a snapshot of voting patterns, “is enough to show that the balloting process for service members is clearly in need of an overhaul.”
The committee, working with the Congressional Research Service, surveyed election offices in seven states with high numbers of military personnel: California, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington and West Virginia.
It said that of 441,000 absentee ballots requested by eligible voters living abroad — mainly active-duty and reserve troops — more than 98,000 were “lost” ballots that were mailed out but never received by election officials. Taking into account 13,500 ballots that were rejected for such reasons as a missing signature or failure to notarize, one-quarter of those requesting a ballot were disenfranchised.
The study found that an additional 11,000 ballots were returned as undeliverable.
Schumer’s office said that because a person living abroad must request the absentee ballot and show a clear intention to vote, voter negligence is not thought to be a major factor.
Rather, the New York Democrat said in a statement, there is a chronic problem of military voters being sent a ballot without sufficient time to complete it and send it back. He cited estimates that a ballot can take up to 13 days to reach an overseas voter.
Among the states surveyed, California had 30,000 “lost” votes out of 103,000 ballots mailed out. An additional 3,000 ballots were returned as undeliverable and 4,000 were rejected.
The hearing was to take up possible problems in the Federal Voting Assistance Program, a Pentagon program that handles the election process for military personnel and other overseas voters.

One good thing I believe is starting to happen is that people are beginning to look at everything about our government and finding massive problems that need fixing. Though the current administration is totally incompetent, their very amateurish actions are putting them and big government under the magnifying glass of the people. I just pray it isn’t too late.

Makes you wonder how many absentee ballots actually did make it in - not just from overseas but from here as well.
I have to wonder that my absentee ballot was dropped into a landfill rather than a ballot box. The effectiveness of democracy is reliant entirely on the trust of the people. If the people no longer trust their democracy, what is that democracy worth? If people no longer trust the election process, then what? Shall we revert back to the Dark Ages? Will partisan factions install leaders over some of us by force of arms? Will the Union crumble under the weight of ideological sectionalism? Will the burning passion of a few tyrannize the many?
This disenfranchising of the military ballot will boomerang against the Marxists in the future. It is but one more reason why, if the country falls into civil war, why the military is going to go over to our side and the Marxists get their asses handed to them. This is nothing new - Democrats have been fighting against having the military absentee ballots counted for a long time. Remember ~ Gore tried to get them thrown out when he went after Bush.
They should have registered to vote with ACORN in chicago, then their votes would have counted at LEAST twice!

Unless WE Take the System, ACORN/Obama will have 52% of Claimed Vote (35% Real Vote) and 70 of Power in 2009; 70% of Claimed Vote (30% Real Vote) and 85% Power in 2011; and 90 of Claimed Vote (30% Real Vote) and 100% of Power in 2012.
WE must Pick up the GUNS and COUNT THE VOTES OURSELVES…..ALL ACORN VOTES OUT, ALL WHO PROFITED FROM THEM OUT.
