    I cannot believe that BBC is a publicly subsidized organization – they are the most wasteful spenders of any media outlet in the world — and the money isn’t even theirs.

    If any such media outlet rose to power within the United States, and acquired tax subsidies to operate, I would hope for full-blown rioting in the streets. But by that time, this country would no longer be recognizable as the United States, and our ability to protest would probably be denied.
