    Gen. Powell: You claim you’ve spent “the last 20 years” voting Republican. So what changed this time? I don’t beleive the bilge flowing out of your mouth that “the most qualified person” got your vote. As Rush stated, it was RACE. Be a man and admit it.

    Then Sen. Obama had absolutely NOTHING ‘experience’ wise over Sen. McCain (even though many conservatives absolutely LOATHED McCain’s politics). It speaks volumes as to your personal character that a ‘Brother in Arms’ (McCain) lost your vote to a ‘Brother in Flesh tone’ (Obama).

    As a Conservative Black American, NO ONE should HATE me for my race, color, religion, etc. AND NO ONE SHOULD LOVE ME FOR THE SAME!!! Gen. Powell, you voted for Obama for race only. You, sir, are a RASCIST–no different than the water-hosing Bull Connors’ of years gone by. You detached yourself from principle because of affection for the COLOR on the man, rather than CHARACTER in him.

    It saddens me deeply to have to write this. Gen. Powell, we hearken from the same locale (New York City). I watched your ascendancy since the days President Reagan chose you to be National Security Advisor. With your portfolio, I truly thought for a time, that YOU were ‘the One’.

    Martin is rolling in his grave, man. If Black Americans think for a New York minute that they can vote their way into prosperity, I say they should think again. Look over your shoulders, Black Man: the Mexican, Middle Eastern, Indian, and Oriental man is HOT on your ass.

    You just don’t endorse and vote for a socialist Democrat over John McCain and say you are a Republican.

    You just don’t talk about how the American People want more Government and taxes and say you are a Republican.

    There is a good article at the American Thinker by Randall Hoven “You Might Not Be A Republican” that borrows, humorously, from Jeff Foxworthy’s “You Might Be Redneck.” Powell gets skewered, as he deserves to be.
