Economic Political Warfare: All Shuttered Chrysler Dealers Were Heavy GOP Donors

Excerpted From Doug Ross at Director Blue:

A tipster alerted me to an interesting assertion. A cursory review by that person showed that many of the Chrysler dealers on the closing list were heavy Republican donors.

To quickly review the situation, I took all dealer owners whose names appeared more than once in the list. And, of those who contributed to political campaigns, every single one had donated almost exclusively to GOP candidates. While this isn’t an exhaustive review, it does have some ominous implications if it can be verified.

However, I also found additional research online at Scribd (author unknown), which also appears to point to a highly partisan decision-making process.

I have thus far found only a single Obama donor (and a minor one at that: $200 from Jeffrey Hunter of Waco, Texas) on the closing list.

You should read the whole thing as it contains not only more information, but damning updates from Cars.com

The other thing to research, Pat, would be if the remaining dealers are high Dem Donors and correlate them with performance (high performing but GOP donors = closed / high Dem Donors but poor performance = open).

If you can’t get the mobster with murder, how about tax evasion? What I mean is, could this be used to help bring the monster down?

Another point, above my paygrade, would be to put better business minds than my own to work figuring out how to help the closed dealers (turn them on to other opportunities etc).

One dealer called Rush L. and said the same thing. He also said, his was one of the most profitable dealers in the nation.
He said it made no sense to close him down, because Chrysler would LOSE a lot of money.
Arent a lot of Chrysler dealers in a national lawsuit against this decision process. The judge could put this on hold.

  • ji

Rush also calculated the number of dealer employees at 50. He then came out with 150,000 dealer employees losing their jobs.
THEN there are those companies that make money off of the dealers. Landscapers, parts companies, etc.
    Thats probably another 150,000 nationwide.

the first thought that came to mind when i read that the 0bama team was closing dealerships. “wonder if they were gop supporters”

  • Specter

Clearly the big boys in Texas are already privy to the obvious truth here. My senses are kicking in here.

As soon as news broke about the closures this sorta thing crossed my mind. We’ve seen class warfare, thuggery, and mob rule.

Something needs to happen and happen quick

None of this surprises me in the least. I knew such blatant partisan vindictiveness would be the case long before the first speculations were articulated publicly.

I’m most intrigued by the photo of ‘that thing’ above. Clearly it is a glimpse at the completely soulless nature of this creature. A mere shell of a sentient being – whose very humanity was consumed long ago by the evil power of its’ own hate poisoned mind.

His very ‘nature’ IS his biggest weakness… which can and should be exploited!

  • ignifer

sorry if i seem to be at a low point in the midst of all the hope and change, but i seriously doubt anyone will do a damn thing until theyre trussed up like a hog.
    then they will just squeal.
    hoping im wrong,
    ignifer…

  • Wolfen

I am very interested in explotiting his weakness.
Any immediate ideas? We must stop this monster.

  • bman

Let’s be careful with this line of conspiracy until the research is done.

Where were the members of Congress when all this back-room dealing went down? I don’t give a damn if they’re Democrat or Republican. Congressional representatives are supposed to REPRESENT !!! Congress has been cowed into submission — Democrat AND Republican.

This is NAZIISM !!! The Obama Schutzstaffel is on the move.

Yeah, like the birth certificate.

First, as Barry likes to point out, he won. So there’s very little in the legal realm we CAN do to shut him down. Second, the Congress is not cowed, they are complicit. The Dems in Congress WANT this to happen. They are full blown members of the Obama cult that swept this poser into power. He’s not going anywhere in the next 4 years. And the Congress has carte blanche for the next 2. Don’t believe me? Watch what happens when immigration reform comes back around. Nationalized medicine? People don’t want it, but it’s going to be shoved down our throats anyways.

The Leftists are going to try to bring down big donors in every corperate field to try to choke off the money to the Conservatives that may seek power in the Republican Party.

We are going to have to accept these as facts and switch up our tactics and long term strategy accordingly.

YERMOM is also interested in the racial background of those that lost their business vs. those that got to keep them.

You know, it would be funny if the Second American Revolution began not on the Common at Lexington Concord but on a crowded new car lot in Pookeepsie…

What would happen if the dispossessed dealer across American banded together and decided to sell their inventories, etc, with or withou Chrysler’s approval, maybe sold used cars, the odd homemade alternate fuel car…you know, fight socialism with capitalism…force the issue MOCK the OBAMA.

    What do you guys think?

That’s the same look he gave the baby crying during his pro-abortion push at notre-damn.

if YERMOM owned one of these lots I would sell every GM and Chrysler on my lot for 500 dollars with double the warranty.

Boiling point seems to be getting closer and closer.

If after the polling is done on all dealers and it shows a distinct pattern, ALL AMERICANS need to be standing against this! Forget the tea and crumpet parties! ALL OVER AMERICA there better be rage showed at every state capitol, city, and town! If you all here are more than just forum posters, you should know how to do this! I will be in touch with our tea party organizers here in Boise – we will take this to the streets!

  • tlk

At least we know where NOT to go to buy cars now.

Wolfen, this is why I asked if there is some way to unite the closed dealerships and keep them open somehow as a way of mocking Obama, pushing him, showing him up, somehow…?

  • jasjfarrell

    Just the beginning……

If Bush would have even considered some sort of retribution against his political foes the MSM would have been up in arms.

As the federal government continues to take over companies the unions will own and run them.

  • aboutTObegin

good thinking Tim, but unfortunately for the Dealerships that are loosing their franchise to another dealer are not being compensated and their workforce will be out of work…the dealership will be busy dealing with Bankruptcy…I think other opportunities will be out of the question until they come out of the woods…especially with the Gestapo in power and the usurper at the head. NO ONE will want to contribute to this economy or pay the idiots wages. Lets not forget ALL of the TAXES, LAND PROTECTION, and penalties being imposed on the American Oil Companies…which will inevidably put them out of business as well and drive their jobs to Foreign Oil Companies….and lets not forget the support services for both the American Auto Industry and the American Oil Industry….truckers, Helicopter Pilots, A&P Mechanics, steel industry, welding…etc etc etc and the list goes on and on…and ALL of these people will be out of work as well!!! The BALL is rolling and the wish is becoming a reality for the usurper!

exactly Specter….the first conspiracy will be the last conspiracy…..where IS the birth certificate???

    -aTb

  • aboutTObegin

first of all the usurper did not win, he was put in power by the very organizations and people that support him….the msm….there was no way for the populace to verify any of the voting numbers. Secondly, WHO verified his birth certificate? whether he won legitimately or not, if he does not have a certified birth certificate, whether in office or not, he is not and will never have been a true president of the United States and any person he nominated and any law enacted and passed will be null and void.

Ummm….selling the cars at 500 a pop would hurt the dealer, not Chrysler. Something you seem to not understand is that every one of those cars on the dealer’s lot HE OWNS. They were purchased from Chrysler, with the dealer’s bank guaranteeing the floor plan. If he sells these cars at 500 a whack, HE eats the difference.

This fact is especially important to understand in realizing the bind these guys are in, since American’s are bargain hunters when it comes to cars and WILL do all they can to drive prices down…especially with the low faith in Chrysler atm.

It’s doubly damaging because these same dealers were told by Chrysler 6 months ago that they needed to help the manufacturer by taking extra inventory, with promises by Chrysler that they WOULD make it good with them financially for any losses they may incur (I guess they were trying to stay afloat long enough to get bailed out). So these guys are sitting on in some cases 60% more inventory than they have planned for….and if they cant move it by the close date they’re screwed. HARD.

See, children, this is exactly why you do NOT EVER allow a government to nationalize an industry.

  • Matt

If the reasons that a particular dealer was placed on the list are shown to be a pre-text for retaliation based on political speech (campaign contributions or political activity) then the dealer would have a basis for a lawsuit against the Federal government.

When I use the word pre-text, I mean that an actual performance comparison of the victimized dealer was better and had the ability to remain better than the dealers that were not closed.
