Whoever murdered George Tiller has done a gravely wicked thing. The evil of this action is in no way diminished by the blood George Tiller had on his own hands. No private individual had the right to execute judgment against him. We are a nation of laws. Lawless violence breeds only more lawless violence. Rightly or wrongly, George Tilller was acquitted by a jury of his peers. “Vengeance is mine, says the Lord.” For the sake of justice and right, the perpetrator of this evil deed must be prosecuted, convicted, and punished. By word and deed, let us teach that violence against abortionists is not the answer to the violence of abortion. Every human life is precious. George Tiller’s life was precious. We do not teach the wrongness of taking human life by wrongfully taking a human life. Let our “weapons” in the fight to defend the lives of abortion’s tiny victims, be chaste weapons of the spirit.

Professor George is correct about not taking the law into our own hands against someone as awful as Tiller. Where, however, Professor George goes wrong is his invoking the Bible about vengeance being God’s. God uses human actions to implement His will. It may have been God’s vengeance and God’s will that Tiller be killed. It is not for us to say it was or was not.
I beleive God IS begining to exact judgement for abortion. Maybe not with Tiller but there was another case that was interesting…
Some dude who owns a chain of abortion clinics had his whole family killed in a plane crash. The plane was a small private plane he was able to buy from abortion profits. The plane crashed in a Catholic cemetary in Montana. The cemetery had a monument erected in memory of those who died by abortion.

I am concerned that the murder of Tiller will be used by the feds to begin tightening the screws on the conservative movement. They may use this incident (with others) to build the case that we need to be disarmed.
This is why I’ve warned that going off half cocked and being hot headed is going to make it infinitely harder for the rest of us to build our resistance for the day of OUR choosing.
