    Newt right now is the clearest thinker and speaker for Republicans and conservatives. I was at two speeches of his in April and was impressed.

      Right On! He is very smart man and some of his thoughts and policies are very good. BUT when he teamed up with Pelosi that did it for me. He is a RINO and I got a call from his think tank and told them in no certain terms would I support this man for anything. He is tip toeing around and getting a feel for a run but he stepped in the Pelosi/Al Gore global warming shit and I can’t stand any of that crowd. This green shit is going to ruin our economy. We can all make the world a better place by being responsible citizens but the global warming shit is hoax.

    Newt is a good guy, a clear champion of American Sovereignty and American Security. I do not think Newt is a RINO in the least, but rather a man who wont be bullied by anyone when he thinks he’s right. That said, Newt is not, and should not be considered a leader in the Republican party. We need new blood, veterans who live their Republican values instead of talk about them in some vague terms. We need men and women who have put it all on the line and who are looking for a fight, to locate, close with, and destroy the enemy by fire and maneuver, or to repel the enemies assault by fire and close combat. We need less talk, and more action. Out with the old, and in with the new. :gun:

    The true measure of his effectiveness will be the strength of the attack by the Dems and the press … They (try to) personally destroy what they don’t agree with or they view as a threat. Remember Paula Jones? Remember the ad hominid attacks against New when he was Speaker? How about Kathleen Willis? .. need I go on?

    I’m not trying to upset or divide here folks but the fact is in the interview that I watched in full he stated that when you can work with Obama you should.

    I totally disagree with that assessment and prefer the path that Andrew McCarthy took in his recent letter to Holder when asked to come and work with the admin. He didn’t want to be a pawn.

    Any so called Republican who reaches out to any leftist will be used as a pawn. If you can’t see that by now I question whether there is any hope for you to see what’s really happening before our eyes and as I type.

    The time for choosing a side is dead on top of us, leftists aren’t concerned about dissent, as a matter of documented and verifiable fact they are censoring dissent.

      If Newt is as vehemently against so much of Obambi’s plans and actions so far as he appears in this interview, where on earth does he think there will be a place of compromise or working with Obambi :?: I agree Specter that any republican that “works with” Obambi is a fool and a pawn. GWB tried that BS with the dhimmicrats and it got him lots of love, didn’t it :shock: :evil: Newt seems like a fish out of water, flip-flopping around trying to find the air he needs, and wherever he thinks the “air” is, he is going to flop that way… so if Obambi or some wacky dhimmi scheme offers him something, there he will flop. He cannot be so upset with Gitmo closing and other Obambi stuff while still offering to “work together”… it just is not credible or believable :???:
