Ya, they are helping the homeless by throwing away all of their belongings and kicking them out onto the street again. Just another attempt to deny that the homeless exist.
THe flipside of this is with all the money spent on the ‘homeless’, all the programs, all the welfare, all the food stamps and public housing…
WHY were they living under a freeway?
There is something to be learned from this.
Were these homeless just mentally ill? Were they drug addicts, alcoholics?
Or were they willing to live in squalor that, at least, had the appearance of being ‘theirs’ then in a government handout?
I see hope there. There are those, at the bottom of society who would rather live on their own, under a freeway, then in a government subsidized house or a shelter. Human independance is not dead . . .
though I would rather see them taken care of by family, friends, communities, not impersonal ‘CalTrans workers’ with trashbags and good intentions.
Do you see, people? The solution to welfare is to provide a system that has a time limit, that provides socially useful work in exchange for shelter, food and a help up into something self sustaining.
What was it about some dude named Jesus, I think, and teaching someone to fish?

Bet they (the missing sqauters) were recruited by ACORN.And now are CEOs for various key voting districts.
at 1:34….a worker loads an American flag into a trash bag. This is pathetic!
That really pissed me off too.
Just wait, the final solution is coming next.
“Know longer useful to Society”
