1) We all have breasts. Men get breast cancer. Remember, we are all women for the first three months of pregnancy (until the testes develop and testosterone is produced).
2) There is evidence that BHT (found in plastics)is causing early menarche in girls (and other problems in amphibians). The body is a complex thing and different people respond differently to different things.
3) The issue of God doing this to me since I was strong enough might be an interesting point to reinforce as we enter this ‘Godless’ era in human development.
4) As a middle school teacher I can assure you that TOO MANY PARENTS ignore their children’s development, can’t even name parts of their own body (one boy told me his dad told him the name of his penis was ‘hoo hoo’ and that’s what he called it) let alone talk intelligently with their children about puberty.
Adults often can’t talk about sexual issues with their doctors.
This is the real story here. Children NEED people (sometimes called ‘family’ or parents) that they can trust and talk to.
I can tell you a story about a 12 year old with an undescended testicle who thought he was, therefore, going to become a ‘homo’ and was afraid to tell his parents because his father had made his plans known about what he would do to a ‘homo’ if he caught one.
Think before you tell your children things. They listen!
