Obama and ACORN GPS Marking EVERY Front Door in America?

By JB Williams Wednesday, April 29, 2009

http://canadafreepress.com/

Republican Senator Judd Gregg was Obama’s first choice for the Secretary of Commerce post, and Gregg was actually considering joining the Obama team, until he found out that control of the US Census was being stripped from the Commerce Department and placed under the direct control of White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel.

Then, the same week that Americans learned that they were “domestic terrorists”—at least according to Obama’s new DHS (Department of Homeland Security),—if they own a bible, a pocket Constitution or guns, and still believe in Life, Liberty and Freedom, – they also learned that Obama’s Census Bureau had hired thousands of new temporary employees, equipped each with a handheld GPS computer and sent them out to mark GPS coordinates for every residential front door in America.

Oddly, it was this same period that news was breaking of an international flu pandemic, suspected of being a weaponized strain of the virus never before seen, – and that Obama’s team still sees no need to close the US-Mexican border, despite the cross continental spread of a deadly illness now claiming American lives.

Now, if any one of these events happened alone, one might not get too excited. But when a string of such events happen all at once, one begins to question the string of freedom and life threatening coincidences…

I can’t resist the urge to question the authority and purpose behind such a BIG BROTHER initiative, when the official Census itself is not due to be taken until 2010…

No imagination is required to think up a whole laundry list of evil that could be done with a nationwide GPS grid of coordinate’s markers painted on every private home across the country. But I was having trouble thinking up one good reason for it, even one legitimate use that would justify what must be a very expensive undertaking.

According to one of the Census workers, who spoke with me on condition of anonymity, they must GPS mark the coordinates “within 40 ft of every front door” in America and they are supposed to complete that mission nation wide, within 90 days, by the end of July 2009.

The workers were not told why they were GPS marking every front door. But a supervisor is sent out to follow them door-to-door, to make certain that no door is left unmarked. Every door will be marked by one employee, and then checked by a follow-up supervisor.
So, I had to ask, why?

Why does the Obama administration need or want the latitude and longitude coordinates for every home in America? Why the rush to GPS paint every home in the next 90 days? Why must the marker be within 40 ft of every front door? For what possible purpose does the Fed need GPS coordinates for every home, and under what authority do they have the right? Census workers, whom I asked, had the same holy-crap look on their faces that I had by then…

ACORN signed on as a national partner with the U.S. Census Bureau in February 2009 to assist with the recruitment of the 1.4 million temporary workers needed to go door-to-door to count every person in the United States — currently believed to be more than 306 million people. But the count doesn’t take place until 2010… This is April 2009.

Obama’s interest in an ACORN controlled 2010 Census, for the purpose of redistricting to the advantage of Democrats before the 2010 mid-term elections, comes as NO shock from a regime known for their heavy handed Rules for Radicals political strategies. But what does this have to do with GPS marking every home in the country?

The 2% of Americans, who have served military duty at some point in life, are very familiar with the most common use of GPS target painting. The other 98% of Americans might want to pick up a book on the subject, such as The Precision Revolution: GPS and the Future of Aerial Warfare …
Their Authority?

RightSoup.com has just about the only online report available on the matter, and they report, “Why does the government (and ACORN) need to have the GPS coordinates of your FRONT DOOR? Your house is probably on Google Maps already. But the front door? Sounds like a jackboot convenience to me. This is a developing story, and several reports of those who have already been visited by the GPS squad can be found in this forum thread.”

If you challenge Census Bureau employees about the GPS marking of your private residence, you will be handed a preprinted explanation referring you to Sec. 223, Title 13, U.S. Code, Chapter 7, Subtitle 2, which explains the penalties for refusing to provide names and statistics of occupants when asked for by a census taker. This only applies when they are taking a census, (which will not be taken until next year), and the penalty for refusing to answer questions for a census is up to a $500 fine.

However, since the actual Census is not due to be taken until 2010, nobody is asking for any information today. They are only GPS marking your front door today, and Sec. 223, Title 13, U.S. Code, Chapter 7, Subtitle 2 provides the Fed NO authority to GPS paint your front door.

Best I can tell, the Fed has NO authority whatsoever, to paint the front door of every private residence in America. Still, that is exactly what they are doing. Now, the trillion dollar question is, why?
A State of Emergency

From Wikipedia – The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 16, 1878 after the end of Reconstruction, with the intention of substantially limiting the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement. The Act prohibits most members of the federal uniformed services from exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer powers that maintain “law and order” on non-federal property (such as states and their counties and municipal divisions) within the United States.

In short, the statute generally prohibits federal military personnel and units of the National Guard operating under federal authority, from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States.

As members of the military are sworn to protect and defend the Constitution and the American people against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, a federal order to do the exact opposite, and take aim at American citizens, would be a clear violation of the US Constitution and the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, unless…

US Military personnel are trained to follow orders. But they are also obligated to refuse any order deemed “unlawful.” In order to make such an order appear “lawful,” the federal government would first have to declare a national “state of emergency,” such as in the case of an international pandemic, which can be demonstrated to threaten the health and well-being of American citizens.

Following a state of emergency declaration, a federal order for Martial Law would be expected, to allegedly provide law enforcement and security for citizens. This type of scenario can be followed by a presidential order to quarantine, disarm and contain American citizens in the name of national security, all of it, having the appearance of being “lawful.”

Is this what is happening?
Connecting the Dots

Alone, individual events look concerning, but not conspiratorial. What about when you place the pieces of the puzzle together and take a look at the entire picture developing?

Under this “theory,” how does the GPS marking of every private residence in the nation fit into the picture?

I wish I knew… but I don’t!

What I do know is this… Coincidences of this number and magnitude don’t happen. They certainly do not happen all at the same time, within hours or days of each other, out of the wild blue tin-foil hat heaven…

I also know that people had better start asking the right people the right questions and demanding answers fast. Begin with asking the mainstream press why there has been no public notification of the federal governments GPS marking your front door?

Then, I suggest contacting your local Census Bureau office immediately, and demanding an explanation as well as advice as to what law gives them the right to GPS paint every front door in America?

I’d also recommend sending a copy of this column to your state and federal representative, demanding that they put a stop to it or explain why it’s necessary, and what law gives them the right?

Unfortunately, we live in a moment of history when real events are much stranger than nutty conspiracy theories. The people have every right to know what is happening. But unless you demand to know, nobody’s talking!

Bill Clinton sold US nuclear technology to Red China for a mere $300,000 in campaign contributions. The event landed Chinese bagman Johnny Chung in prison, but put Hillary Clinton in the US Senate, and now at the helm of the US State Department.

Highly secured government servers are hacked daily. Soon, hackers will be able to grab a nation wide GPS grid map, marking the front door of every home in America.

How much is a GPS grid of every American household worth to the enemies of America, both foreign and domestic? I’d estimate, PRICELESS!

There is a foul odor resonating from the current regime in Washington DC and most Americans can smell it. Can most Americans gather the strength to do something about it?

This is deeply disturbing, but sadly most people are sheep that don’t want to face reality and will leave the fight up to the sheep dogs to protect them from the wolves. I just hope there is enough of us sheep dogs out there to protect the pathetic herd.

I thought that anything that was to be done for the census was supposed to happen in 2010, not 2009, and what is the reasoning behind marking the doors of every house in America with GPS to be used in a database? Isn’t that a threat to our right of privacy, let alone what ACORN is going to be able to do with this information.

If you were in charge of protecting the people in the USA, would you be letting a group like this be in a partnership with the Census Bureau, be it they are being investigated for a slew of illegal activities?

I can only guess how much this would be costing the American taxpayer. Billions at the very least.

At this time ‘Spring 2009: Census employees go door-to-door to update address list nationwide.

What that means, is that the ‘Census Workers’ are there at your door to mark your location, not to ASK YOU QUESTIONS.

THE QUESTIONS you MUST answer are MAILED to you in a FORM, they ARE NOT asked by the ‘CENSUS WORKERS’.

Any CENSUS WORKER that ASKs questions is overstepping their bounds and should be told to F-Off. Bring a camcorder or camera to the door and watch them shit.

    Pat,

Jonathan Hunt, Fox News, reported last Friday, that five states have called the National Guard to secure Tamiflu at undisclosed locations. He confirmed this with the Kansas National Guard. This report was on Shepherd Smith’s program at both 3pm and 7pm.

    Did you hear that report?

Does it connect to this article? And if so; why?

Something does not pass the smell test here.

“Nevada authorities are accusing the political advocacy group ACORN and two former employees of illegally paying canvassers to sign up new voters last year.

Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto filed charges Monday alleging the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now had a handbook and policies requiring employees in Las Vegas to sign up 20 new voters per day or be fired.

Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller and Masto say that’s voter registration fraud, and it violates state law banning quotas for registering new voters.

A criminal complaint filed in Las Vegas Justice Court accuses ACORN and two former employees of 39 low-level felonies.”

GPS markers have precisely one use: marking a target for aerial bombardment. The government expects resistance to totalitarian plans it already has in the works. They expect a guerilla war like we’ve fought in Iraq or Afghanistan. It would be house-to-house and GPS coordinates of all the residences in America would be invaluable to cracking resistance one house at a time. It makes the game of Whack-A-Mole a lot more efficient. Trends like these are making a lot of sense out of the Book of Revelation – especially the branding of 666 on people in order to receive services from the government. Just my take – you’re more than welcome to disagree.

    • Paslode

There are lots of potential mis-uses of GPS marking….match them up with firearms records, mass innoculations, political mailings, Government promoted protest, relocation, outside enemies could hack the data and use it against us and search and seizure…just to name a few.

It is F-Up anyway you look at it.

I worked for the census in 2000. It was one of the
most screwed up messes you’ve ever seen. Even with
GPS the people hired to do the work are at best
mainly semi literate and at worst lazy bastards.
The addressing was fubar’d from day one.
Another, there are thousands of locations where
the people hired cannot approach the front door of the residence.
The maps used have roads running in wrong with incorrect streets named and addresses either
    located erroneously or non existent.
There were thousands of surveys not filled in, and
were never completed. On the forms mailed out,
many were not placed in mailboxes. They ended up
tied to gates, fences, in other peoples mail boxes.
On the forms the only answer mandatory is how many
reside at each residence. The rest is none of their
    business.
The early hiring for census work was sourced out
in each state. Unless the people who were hired
in such a manner are actually militarily trained
being sourced with top notch documents, the census
will be another circle jerk circus.
More than a few have found themselves running from
loaded weapons and very aggressive dogs.

  • Robbie

It is probably so those dumb kneegrow bastards hire by kingfish Obama
Can find the houses of guys like Pat and the other leaders of the resistance.
It’s called targeting. We get the grid of the head guy at each level so we
Can snatch and grab. Just be armed and have a safe room they can’t find.
These hoodrat are dumb and lazy, so they won’t look for you. Now they
Will steal your stuff, but they won’t look.

    • falconfixer

Pat and those like him are on the RED list, the rest of the patriots are on the BLUE list.

  • DoubleTap

Ok, so defeat this by moving immediately after the census is taken. Go ahead … take the GPS location of the front door of the current residence. Be my guest. Some tree hugging liberal will be living here in a year – I guaran-damn-tee it.

My question is to ask if anyone knows how to defeat the GPS marking? Any ideas?

I, for one, am not going to answer any questions other than the mandatory “how many” question. I may just give them an answer of 15 just for shits n grins. That would be me, the spouse, 2 dogs and the litter of pups and several house plants. All of us are conservatives.

  • maggiew

There’s nothing for some bored geeks to hack the
gps program once the addresses are entered.
The equipment and programming they’re using are
    jokes.
Lots of the census information is totally screwed
up before, during, and after the fact of being
taken and entered into the data base.
Not to minimize the facts this information could
possibly be used against a major portion of the
population, there is a lot of ineptness involved too.

  • mdconservative

Many have come to the wrong conclusion about the Posse Comitatus Act. I really do not understand how it has anything to do with the census though. But I would suggest people read a piece I did about PC a while back:

    http://ci-report.blogspot.com/2008/12/repeal-posse-comitatus-or-educate.html

I am not that concerned about this. Think about it, all GPS is… lat/long. You can get that from a AAA map. If one is going to be all that concerned about GPS coordinates then you should be just as worried about your house number, street, city, state, and zip being known by the Govt. Which if you own your home and pay taxes they already have. Vote, license, etc.

    Ivan,
I think the fine people at Garmin and Onstar would disagree that GPS has only one use. As well as myself and a host of others, including those that work for the USGS.

If you are concerned over GPS in your cars and cells…I understand that, it could be used to track you. Last I checked houses don’t move. So why the concern I guess I am just in the dark on this.

    • solomonpal

When the military raids a terrorist cell in Iraq or Afghanistan…do they use #2 Abdul Salaam street or do they verify with GPS? Does a GPS coordinate when linked to an address and assigned a color coded spot on a map maybe identify hot-spots?

    • Paslode

Cars and Cell phones….good point. Probably the bigger concern of this is the ACORN Fraud factor. Use of ACORN minions to conduct the address check, the Government paycheck that will fill their coffers and the fraudulent redistricting that could occur.

And to keep this in perspective, this event with the 2010 Census has been public knowledge since 2006.

  • http://thinkingmeat.net meatbrain

“Begin with asking the mainstream press why there has been no public notification of the federal governments GPS marking your front door?”

Golly, what a puzzler. That’s a tough one, all right — or it would be, if it were true.

Of course, it takes only about four or five minutes to find out that the Census Bureau has, of course, publicly announced the use of GPS computers, and explained their purpose:

“Some Census workers have laptops to aid them in the interview process, and handheld computers that provide them access to maps of the area they’re working in. The handheld computer uses a global positioning system (GPS) technology to help locate addresses. This GPS technology allows us to reduce the amount of time spent by census workers in locating addresses while increasing productivity. Most importantly, by adding a GPS coordinate to each housing unit, the Census Bureau is able to ensure that residents are counted in the right location. This is important as the data are used to apportion congressional representation and used to draw redistricting lines.”

  • JayMS

I thought about this one for a while. The whole GPS thing has more to do with gerrymandering congressional districts than anything else. I doubt the military is planning airstrikes on churches or homes of “dissidents”. Who would they carry this out?

No, gerrymandering makes more sense. Obama is not like Hitler. I think he goes for more of the “soft” tyranny like social Marxism.

Gerrymandering makes it possible for the dems to secure a majority in the midterms. Otherwise why would the whitehouse care? For example, I live in Milwaukee. Our rep is Gwen Moore. Another libtard black woman. Lots of blacks in Milwaukee. Paul Ryan is the rep for Kenosha/Racine. Take a few blacks from my district and add them on to Paul Ryan’s. Ryan gets booted out and Kenosha gets a libtard dem.

    • ZenDraken

Gerrymandering: you beat me to it!

These people came to my door the other day. They knew I was not pleased, but I also didn’t want to get recorded as “non-cooperative at these coordinates”.

Anyway, while I object to the GPS marking, I could not for the life of me figure out why they would do this. I could see the county doing this to help with emergency, fire department, and EMT people. But not the Federal Government. Why do the Feds want my coordinates?

A simple explanation is that it’s just another piece of data to help build out the overall census database. GPS coordinates, combined with other data, are useful for all kinds of data-mining. Mostly for mundane statistical stuff, but… gerrymandering. That’s the political goldmine here. Combine GPS coordinates with other data, do a bunch of statistics, and you can create whatever voting blocs you want.

And we can object all we want, but the data can be gathered with or without handheld GPS, so it’s hard to stop it anyway. But I still don’t like it.

  • AFITgrad86

I think I stepped through the looking glass … OK everyone before you get your panties in a wad know this … public records list every address and the owner for tax roles, the postal service has a monster database of who live where and when they relocate for snowbird season, and Google earth can show you an actual photo of your home … by the way the GPS coordinates are part of that database.

So come on people … let’s calm down … the genie is already out of the bottle!

Think I’m joking? Try typing your street address into Zillow.com or Google Earth.

So let’s calm down and not give the Marxist bastards any ammunition to use against us …

respectfully, what the Govt has or does not have is not the issue. Yes I am aware that GOPS coordinates exist in many state, local and county records. however, you are missing some of the point, A Marxist head of State is sending his ACORN minions DOOR TO DOOR, to observe and report, they are observing your attitude, your wealth (or lack of) your car, the insides of your house and your reaction to their presence.

Before I make my comment, I just want to say that I do not agree with this, and do not want any further government intrusion into my life. With that said, GPS coordinates aren’t really giving the government any more information than they already have. Since they already have your address, they can simply geocode that address onto a map (like what google maps does when you type in an address). The government can do this on a national scale, and store all the points in a geodatabase, joining any unique information they desire to each address, or record. The only difference between geocoding an address and collecting a GPS point is accuracy. In most cases, GPS coordinates would increase the government’s accuracy of your home address by 0-25ft. I really think this is just a way to keep the workers on task, making them prove they were on route for the day. I still don’t like it but I’ll save my ammo for something more threatening.

As I said before, a few cheap LED scramblers should put them out of function. Organize a neighborhood watch. when you see them coming to knock on doors, refuse to answer the door, activate your radio shak scrambler and let the rest of the neigborhood know they are coming.

Post your property, against tresspassing, call the local police on them. Don’t worry about the $500 for refusal….the have no legal authority to fine you

    That explains a few things…

A few weeks ago my wife told me that a census person came by the house, knocked on the door and stated they would just be standing outside the door for a few minutes.

The census person then did just that and left.

I’d like to be pissed, but it’s not like Google Maps doesn’t exist.

I just refused this morning, I asked what he was here for since the census isn’t until next year. He mentioned maps, I asked if had a GPS. When he said yes I asked him to leave immediately, telling him he had no legal authority to collect this information, come back next year. I was polite but firm. My property is marked properly for trespassing. If they come back, I will call the police and have them arrested.

  • proud2beaninfidel

This is why I don’t want a conceal carry permit. They are marking their targets. It’s all about total control. I will keep my handgun loaded (the one with the laser sights) and my Nikon D300 SLR to record these perps when they come knocking.
