    What a joke. Anyone want to ‘drive’ a car made of tinfoil and is powered by a 1 HuP (human power) Flinstone engine?

    I am going into the ceramic-soled sneaker business … everyone will need a good pair of brake shoes, what size do you take?

    This all sounds great, until you factor in the cost in money and lives.

    As a beginning example, Spain has found that for every green job they create several more lose a job in the oil industry. Wind-farm’s will need to spread across every square foot of the ENTIRE state of Nevada to supply a small portion of what is needed nationally. It is going to bankrupt us all.

    There has been no planning! This is the exact same thing as Obama closing Gitm’o. He proclaims something, forces it to be done, and later finds out it’s impossible, needing to backtrack. Expect the same type outcome. Only this time we will all be in the poor house with only a smart car in the driveway and no way to afford to fuel it.

    He’s trying to turn us into Kosovo where the mob and the UN. make all the wrong decisions.

    They drive these things we called Kosovo Harley Davidsens.. a modifyed roto-tiller with a car year end and no brakes.(not the Elites you know, just the peasents)

    Very important to keep the peasents from moving around much. Too much freedom just gets abused you know……

    People still have to smuggle diesel fuel to run the things so they could raise a garden and feed there familys…(well you need permission to use those pumps you know)

    What did Sotoro talk about? Taxing your gardens because it effects inter state commerce?

    This is all about control, don’t ever bullshit yourself otherwise.

    All this means is that each brand will put out 1 or 2 tiny little econoboxes and hybrids, all r&d subsidized by the tax payer of course. Those little cars will up the model range average, bringing them into compliance. The rest of the models will stay pretty much the same. Gotta love new taxes.

      I think you are closer to the mark Storm.

      It’s wishful thinking that Obama will go easy on us and allow gas guzzlers and trucks to stay around and just have them taxed more.

      He’s a radical and IMHO he will force us all to change vehicles through legislation to micro cars, eliminating and RECYCLING all the bad old cars.

      In fact, I’d go as far as to say Custom and collector cars will be outlawed! To the crusher they go!

      They remind people of their lost freedoms and encourage foolish spending on ones-self. Hide those precious cars boys and girls or they will end up in a crusher!
