Republicans “Risque” Attack On Reid In Home State – With Video

POLITICO: It’s not very often that you see Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) pictured alongside scantily-clad women – even in Las Vegas.
But that’s the image that the National Republican Senatorial Committee is inculcating in a Web ad attacking Reid for holding a glitzy Las Vegas fundraiser with President Obama (netting the senator’s campaign about $2 million) during an economic recession.
“While Nevada families are hurting and losing their jobs, Harry Reid is throwing a blowout Hollywood party for himself at Caesar’s palace,†the ad says. as an image of a half-naked model flashes alongside a head shot of Reid. “How more out of touch can he be?â€
Republicans have aggressively attacked Reid in recent days, but currently have no candidates willing to challenge the well-funded senator. Reid ended March with over $5 million in his campaign account, and has said he is planning to raise an eye-popping $25 million for his re-election campaign.
So even though polls show Reid vulnerable to a credible challenger, the longer he continues to stockpile cash without any opposition, the harder it will be for the GOP to seriously challenge him.
