    It is time to rise up and dare them to come and take this patriot’s car! I am ready to guard that vehicle with a shotgun and dare anyone to place an untoward hand on it.

    We can no longer allow such foolishness and anti-American activity to take place. Our nation is on the down-hill side of gone and we may never stop the slide if we don’t move soon.

    I do not want nor wish this, but we are arriving at the place where only armed resistance will stop the plunge of our country into pure socialism.

    Soon, because we have been pushed into it, we shall have to take up arms to defend our freedom(s) on our own soil and against our fellow citizens. We shall have absolutely no choice.

      Exactly so. Letters, phone calls and FAX’s of support from us for that Marines right to display his pride of service should go directly to that home owners association.

      This is a primary example of why we should never, ever allow leftists to assume positions of authority and when they do we should stand up, speak out, and get in their faces. There’s no need for violence just reverse tactics on the bastards.

      I just watched this story on CNN and was waiting for the punchline, then my jaw dropped. This HOA is clueless! This gentleman served our country in order that we maintain our freedoms; ironically one of those freedoms being freedom of speech. I am personally outraged at the pettiness and lack of respect towards this Vet. How dare you HOA! Why was he singled out with threats of fines and the possibility of his vehicle being towed away? I am shocked at this ignorance. I also have to wonder who these people are in the HOA? If they find these stickers and decals offensive to their fragile sensibilities, then they should get down on their knees and give thanks if this is the biggest problem they consider important enough to invest their time in.
      I propose a HUGE 4th of July BBQ party in honor of this Vet. Ooops, I bet this HOA doesn’t permit such events. With the greatest respect, I offer my thanks to this Vet. for serving our great country.

    This is a good example of why ACCDF’s revised Mission Statement (and yes, I’m still working on it, Pat, if I’m not too late to the party) needs to include the networking of like-minded artisans to create entertainment product that advocates Conservatism and Capitalism.

    Right now, radical Leftism has a monolithic control over education and the “pop culture.” This means that no matter what we do, we are fighting a “War of Attrition” because the nation’s psyche will inexorably be dragged further Left, generation by generation, until all vestige of what we recognize as “America” is lost.

    Rush Limbaugh has repeatedly commented on this, that during the Reagan Years we mistakenly thought we had won the “Culture War” and stopped teaching people what Conservatism is all about. The Left, however, redoubled their efforts and now we are seeing the results.

    The ONLY way we will win this war is to teach people what Capitalism and Conservatism is all about, using popular entertainment to teach those lessons. Doing this will slowly shift the Culture War to one of “competing ideologies in the free marketplace of ideas.” And that is a war we can win.

    Heck if it were me I’d get my vehicle “wrapped” with Marine Corps graphics, especially if they determine it’s not an advertisement. Which they will have to do, unless they decide to treat the rest of their tenants with ANYTHING on their cars the same way.
