.A Federal court released the audio of an FBI wiretap that includes Illinois Senator Roland Burris offering to “personally do something” for then Governor Rod Blagojevich who later named Burris to the seat.

This is a corrupt ‘inside baseball’ call.
Burris is looking for ways to support Blago, without having his name attached, so he can get Obama’s old job, and SAYS SO in this call. BANG, he’s dead.
He admitted he could not host a fund raiser for Blago because the implication would be pay for play right after that plea for the job. So, he announced a way he could at least help Blago’s personal political campaign with money from his law firm under another persons.
The Blago spokeshole (his brother?) on the phone said everyone (in the world) wanted that job. He did not give an indication, in any way in this call, that he was looking for anything but money support for Blago.
In the end Blago DID give Burris the job. So there is a DIRECT connection here.
