I don’t know what to think of this. Part of me wants to say “You Go Girl!” The other part of me, just wants to shake her, and ask her if she is stupid or what!

Brain washing is working in our public schools.

  • ji

I even met some kids, who are mad at capitalism.

    • Gaige Mosher

So have I, for they are my age-mates.

I generally smack their heads into the nearest hard, flat surface available

Our kids have no books to learn, but we will spend money on a copier? How did schools run before copiers? Priorities, maybe that is the reason the schools are failing.

    • Chocolate City Dave

Did they just spend 10K on a copier?

States don’t have to take Federal money, I wish to God Indiana would stop. It always comes with strings attached, and it always decreases state’s self-sufficiency. I’m sure this 18 year old girl doesn’t realize that, and wouldn’t care even if she did. Kids are being taught to believe in the federal government being everyone’s savior.

My toilet’s clogged. Call 1-800-ObamaDC instead of your local plummer.

    • Kirk

That would make a good bumper sticker!

Honey – if a stange man offers you $20 you better ask him what the conditions are. Government is no different.

 ACORN or some liberal group is putting up the cash. This is a backdoor attempt to subvert SC’s rights under the 10th amendment.

Wow. That National Education Association (NEA) is going a great job. How much do you think those teachers make in the corridor of shame.

Salaries are from the 2006-2007 and reflect entry level wages

Average Teacher Salary (Bachelor’s Degree): $30,397
Average Teacher Salary (Master’s Degree): $34,007
    Average Teacher Salary (PhD): $39,559

    • Randy

      Adding to my post…

As long as the teachers are taken care of financially, the NEA could give a fuck less about the students.

    • Mark

yea as long as the teachers have money in there pockets students really don’t matter.. depressing really..

she obviously doesn’t know that the “stimulus” money can only be used as obama sees fit…highly likely that education is one of the things obama wants it used for
stupid kid is obviously not getting all the facts…nor will she

  • Tom1981

It’s my guess that she doesn’t even have standing before the court to file her lawsuit. Unless she can demonstrate that she, personally, was harmed in some way (by an act yet future no less), then she has no grounds to sue. Those of you who are attorneys, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

  • Mark

Yes she is young and naive to say the least but her hearts in the right place.. She wants to help kids but the Obama nation doesn’t like to face cold hard facts like the Corridor of Shame nor do they give 2 shits…

  • Sharon

I say You Go Girl  Purchasing the copier was the best way to spend the money, and if you people don’t see that then try purchasing multiple text books for a few thousand students. In my area it’s 2 students for each book there its more like 3-4 students share a book. Society complains when taxes are raised yet how do you think the youth are going learn. This is not 1960 20 kids to a class today its double that. The Governor should take the money and if he is worried about it be repaid by future generations then he should think about the investment that will allow this generation the education to repay the debt. If you raise a bunch of idiots they will have no jobs but if invest in their education they will be able to succeed.
