The dance troupe was not that impressive personally.

Yermom, I agree with you. I saw Les Miserables when I lived in London in mid ’80s and Susan has a fantastic voice. She will do very well and as someone older she was under a lot of pressure with the media. I’m proud of her for going for her dream and she was a very gracious runner-up. I wasn’t too happy with the ‘Fat Chick Finally Loses’ title though. That’s what many saw (old and frumpy) before she began to sing. It’s nice to see talent other than Britney Spears and Madonna … glam and glitter. Susan now has the dream she was brave enough to go for and encouraged many others they could as well.

Music is more inspiring to me than a visual exercise. Although the Irish dancers of Riverdance are a real treat. Maybe it is really the music after all.

Surely most realize that 2nd place of their competition is rewarding and she will go on and do well.

The title of the post is cynical and it is intended to be, it isn’t to late to change it to something more respectable though.
