Al Qaeda Planning Bio-Terror Attack Via Mexico?

Too many people on the liberal side of the fence argue that illegal immigration is a racial issue. They believe that those of us who want to secure the US boarders are inspired by racism, trying to keep out Hispanics. Last year’s story of the Hezbollah Mole in the CIA case (Nada Nadim Prouty) and the terrorists targeting Army base after sneaking over the borders, highlight the reasons we want true immigration reform without amnesty, it is why we want the borders secured before anything else is done. It is more difficult to launch an attack when you can’t get in the country.
In the video above al Qaeda recruiter, Abdullah al-Nafisi discusses how easy it would be:
“Four pounds of anthrax — in a suitcase this big -= carried by a fighter through tunnels from Mexico into the U.S. are guaranteed to kill 330,000 Americans within a single hour if it is properly spread in population centers there”
According to the Washington Times, government officials say there is no imminent biological threat—yet:

This event in an American city kills the very supporters of Obama and the democrats. Dem controlled cities will and are targeted by every radical and terrorist.
Let see, NYC,SF,LA,Philly, Boston and DC.
My guess is that they will target Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, San Diego, and possibly Denver. Nice close targets with easy access from the border. This will allow the politicians in DC to ignore the situation completely.
They will wring their hands and say… aww too bad for those people in the southwest. We really don’t care about them since it is not in the North East Lib-Land. They deserve it anyhow since they are just racists down there and they are supplying guns to Mexico.

The city would also be a symbolic target. That is their MO. The guy in the video even mentioned DC. I would put my money on DC or New York. LA would be a distant third.

As a biochemist who has worked with pathogens allow me to make the following gratuitous statements:
Having read early documents from Ft. Dietrich (nothing recent) the problem with a bio-weapon is exposure, exposure, exposure & viability.
Most pathogens require getting into a human as fast as possible. For all its destructive ability, HIV does not last long outside the body.
If there is a bioattack STAY PUT. Avoid contact with people, especially ones who might be infected. Bleach, fire and uV light are the best defenses.
Also, remember the pet food problem. I still find that suspicious (as I have said in previous posts). It had all the hallmarks of a test run, to me.
Be careful of the food and water supply.
Read up about epidemics. Avoid contact with other humans and their fluids.
Also, I don’t expect a cross Mexico attack. I expect an attack on vulnerable military targets (think food and water) which would pin military units overseas.
We need intel, a network. We need an old fashioned phone tree because a bioattack will start small and explode.

To me, it sounds like bullshit, or, music to the ears of Homeland Security, in their search for, “EXTREMISTS”, and a chance to blame, “and other militias”. I wonder if he was paid for this? Nothing like a ready made excuse for Martial Law, gun confiscation, etc…

If this is correct, and I don’t doubt it, but if it is, this suggests an interesting synergy or a link of some kind: either someone is telling Al Qaeda what to do and how to do it OR there is something else going on…

I found this to be particularly interesting, especially since I published a novel the plot of which involved a bio terror attack on the US that was developed by al Qaeda in cooperation with a US based White Supremacist group.
