A report from Iran that I read said that these snipers are Palestinian thugs brought in for one purpose, to terrorize the demonstators with random killings. They are not there to kill as many as possible, but to pick a random target, make the kill, and move on. The theory is that this should dissuade all the others from carrying on with their effort. Fact is, it is backfiring. “NEDA!” has become a battle cry on the streets of Iran.

I was just over at Gatewaypundit.com and they have some videos of a young man being shot the same way, in the same location on his body, from an elevated position, hidden in a building. Shots were still being fired as they were removing the body from the street.

That’s sniper fire! Secured positioning, total cover, elevated platform, well placed shot in the upper chest with one shot and one kill. These are executions! Done by military or para-military snipers!

There must be some governmental response from the US and her allies to such savagery. The killing of unarmed civilians, who are only walking on the streets in simple protests is unacceptable. Unless our government seeks carte blanche to do the same thing at some future time, with no intervention from outside sources.
