HR1503… A Bill That You Can Support.

As I had recently remarked in my “best of” vacation posting, Rep. Bill Posey’s (R-FL) bill on presidential eligibility, HR1503, had 4 cosponsors added to his bill. And as attorney Mario Apuzzo points out, the list has recently grown to 6:

The sixth U.S. Congress House Representative has signed on to co-sponsor HR 1503. Congressman John Campbell (R-CA 48th District) is the latest to co-sponsor the bill written and sponsored by Bill Posey (R-FL). This bill would prevent Presidential candidates running in future elections, including 2012, as I read the bill, from hiding and sealing their birth and other records and require the political party for the candidate to file the necessary birth records and any other sought corroborating evidence which would be necessary to prove that they are a “natural born citizen” and eligible for the office of President under Article II of the U.S. Constitution.     This bill addresses the issue after it has already happened.

      If the point is to keep Obama out in 2012, wouldn’t it need to specify that it includes incumbents?

      A lawyer might say he was “grandfathered” in, no pun intended.

    I have been calling for this from elected officials for a few months now. I’m pleased this is moving ahead. Call your reps to get their support on this!!

    The Bill will go nowhere with Pelosi posing as Speaker of the House but the ‘issue’ is gaining momentum.
    Barry hiding from his ‘roots’ by hiring lawyers to cover up his past puts the first lie to transparency and is shameful to him as a ‘man’, such as he is.

    Two points, I’ll be brief.

    1) They’ve had time to forge the necessary documents by now, after all, he is the most powerful man in the UNIVERSE, just ask him, he’ll confirm it for you.

    2) Do you really trust the government to vet candidates? Or at this point, do you really trust the government?

    exactly…whats the point, won’t the usurper just veto it? The intention with this bill is good, but too late and what needs to be done is that this KENYAN in our office, a sitting usurper, NEEDS to, NO, HAS TO, prove he is even eligible to be sitting there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and as a Combat Veteran, I DEMAND IT! I DON’T GIVE A FUCK about being Politically Correct because thats what got many of my fellow soldiers and marines killed out here!

    The GOP is in on it or they would be jumping up and down on this issue.
    The GOP act makes them look like they are battling, but they could bring this sham to a conclusion within days.

    A grand jury in a red state could close this out.This lawsuit is a hope because Soetoro can not last through the discover faze of the hearing.

    Soetoro and the Democrats takeover is a sham. Nothing more. The government now does what is pleases. The cap and trade promises to send jobs overseas because of regulations. Folks the Democrats are defunding every American family as to control the population. The people in Iran “get it”, the people in America are not “hungry enough” yet.
