NBC Mocks Nancy Reagan For Daring To Say The One Snubbed Her

This is an obvious attempt to discredit, mock, and ridicule the Former First Lady. Half of this article playfully jokes about Nancy “talking” to her husband’s ghost, in an obvious smear campaign to discredit her sanity. There is absolutely no point and no reason to bring up, as it is irrelevant to the actual point of the article, and no connection between her speaking out against Obama and her personal life, and how she copes with the grief of her late husband. They say poison trees bear poison fruit, and it’s obvious they are trying to label Nancy Reagan as a poison tree. For shame, Obama himself even made tasteless remarks about Nancy Reagan and her habits in a public press conference. The merciless tactics employed by this liberal media outlet are utterly despicable.

NBC News: Former First Lady Nancy Reagan said this week that President Barack Obama snubbed her — and that she still sees the ghost of her late husband Ronald Reagan inside her home.

Nancy Reagan told Vanity Fair that Obama missed an opportunity when she wasn’t invited to a March ceremony where Obama said he’d allow comprehensive stem-cell research — but that the commander in chief later apologized for the oversight.

“I would have gone, and you know I don’t like to travel,” said Reagan, 87, a well-known stem-cell advocate. “Politically it would have been a good thing for him to do.

“Oh, well, nobody’s perfect,” she said.

It isn’t the first time Obama’s insulted the former first lady — he cracked a joke in November 2008 about Reagan’s reported consultations with astrologers during her time in the White House.

“I didn’t want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any séances,” Obama joked on November 7 at a press conference. Obama later apologized for his “careless and off-handed remark.”

Reagan, who spoke from her Bel Air, Calif., home, also said she still catches glimpses of Ronald Reagan’s ghost in the halls — and that time hasn’t healed the wounds in the five years since his death.

“I miss Ronnie a lot, an awful lot,” Reagan said. “People say it gets better. No, it does not.”

“It sounds strange, but … I see Ronnie. At nighttime, if I wake up, I think Ronnie’s there, and I start to talk to him,” she said.

“It’s not important what I say. But the fact is, I do think he’s there. And I see him.”

Former President Ronald Reagan died at 93 in 2004 in Los Angeles after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Ronald and Nancy Reagan were married in 1952.

The interview will be featured in the June issue of Vanity Fair.

nothing suprises me from the “news media”
everyone of em feels the need to inject opinion mixed with carefully chosen factiods to paint a picture that they want people to see…there is no truth involved…in fact it gets in the way

We’ve got to take back our world.

  • YERMOM

    God Bless Mrs. Regan.

Mr. Regan was one of the best Presidents we have every had. Best by far of my lifetime. And Mrs. Regan had class.

The slight by NBC news with the ghost comment only speaks to the depth of the love between these two human beings. Anyone who would mock another in this selfish manner only exposes their own shallow life for what it lacks.

We miss him dearly too Mrs Reagan.

As as practicing demonologist, I’ve lost count of the stories of departed spouses, children, and even pets have come back to comfort the bereved. Knowing Mr. Reagan’s character, I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t come back to let Nancy know he’s okay.

Hell, I wish I could conjure up Mr. Reagan’s apparition. I would LOVE to talk with him for hours to learn anew the wisdom of that man!

[...] has said she was snubbed by The Barack Obama. Now Obama’s media, otherwise known as NBC is mocking Mrs. Reagan for that. I bet she wishes she was nicer to Bush while he was in office [...]

I just read this on Drudge. What to you expect from a society with no honor? A president who has no character whatsoever? Obama’s day in the sun is coming, real soon. Karma is going to catch up to this man, the music will stop and he will be history.

He’s get his million dollar a year gratis, a library, but he will be denied the victory of a life well lived. He will slide into leftist cult obscurity, because i am still predicting impeachment.

He’s stabbed the intelligence community in the back-egregiously so.

He deserves nothing, he has earned nothing. he has soiled the word and thought of honor. He’s pissed on the graves of the selfless and I tell you now, he will be impeached.

It does not matter who you are, President’s widow or not. an 87 year old woman still mourning, and you treat her like this????????????????????????? You infer she is bats?????? What assholes the media are-and then you add Obama who smiles like he likes his new toy, and has the arrogance to match.

I know E-3 Marines and Soldiers with more honor and purpose driven lives than Obama or his crew will ever understand or possess or even be the sligjtest motivated to grasp.

I’m getting pissed…time for more coffee.

I’m betting he’ll be assassinated or incur “unusual death,” sooner rather than later.

I would consider it a compliment to be made an enemy of the media.
