This was unfortunate, thankfully no one was seriously hurt. “Pumpkin” drivers are professional, experienced and have one of the top safety rating in the industry. The driver was ticketed but IMHO it looks like a steer tire blew.
That’s the same kind of crash that almost killed Michael Waltrip years ago… you’d think that by now racetracks would have stopped building walls that run perpendicular to the track… they are just deathtraps waiting to happen

Jesus….That car just EXPLODED. I’ve seen some bad NASCAR wrecks but that was just unreal.

Looking at the beginning of the video there is a drastic slow down in lane 3 while all the other lanes keep moving. The truck comes out from under the bridge and doesn’t appear to be able to stop in time, swerves and flips.
