Mike, you asked about the status of the March. I hope folks will join me on the corner on the 9th and 10th (see my post below) but if that isn’t possible, many many folks will be in DC for Beck’s 9/12 meet-up on the National Mall.

I hope we overwhelm the crooks in DC with our numbers!! This is a great place to warm things up for ACTIVE’s mission on November 4th. I will be passing out info about November 4th while in DC.

The Band of Mothers, The Gathering of Eagles and The Free Republic will gather on the steps of the Cannon Bldg Corner, Washington, DC (corner of New Jersey & Independence Ave) on September 9th and 10th, 2009, to Honor our Troops and Congratulate them for the VICTORY IN IRAQ! We will begin our stand at 9am and will proudly stand until 5pm, both days! We choose the Cannon Bldg as that is where Pelosi supposedly works 3 days per week! We will serenade Nancy and all the treasonous liberals with beautiful patriotic music. They need to be reminded of the greatness of our beautiful America and the brave and courageous HEROES who serve so selflessly to provide the freedom they take for granted. It is time to ring their bells!

So Obama to astronauts: Yeah…not thinking about Mars or the Moon.

So I’m saying to my wife: It basically was (my rough estimate) what? 60-50 years between first flight and man on the moon? We’ve seen 40 years pass and the best we can do is the Shuttle and a space station? WTF?

Can you imagine what we could’ve done if Stimulus money had been plowed into space? Not saying I would’ve advocated bankrupting the nation…but at the end of the day these guys bought fucking HAM FOR FOOD BANKS!!!!!!!

And what of the military applications? Shit, we could’ve armed to the teeth and brokered lasting peace based on pure deterrence for a couple Trillion.
