Censorship: Facebook Shuts Down #1 Republican Group
I have just been informed that Facebook has shut down the most successful conservative group in its sphere- Positively Republican!.
Positively Republican!’s Facebook page has over 120,000 fans. Its founder, Chris Widener, has worked tirelessly and invested a tremendous amount of energy and resources into building what has become the largest conservative group on the world’s biggest social networking utility.
No explanation has been given–and apparently none is forthcoming. Some officers of Positively Republican! are at a loss as to the sudden move on the part of Facebook as they have been conducting the group in the same manner for months on end.
So this question remains: why did Facebook shut down Positively Republican!? Might it have something to do with their politics? Is Facebook becoming a utility for liberals only?

Hadn’t seen this group so I went to their page, joined, and found this:
Positively Republican! Update on Positively Republican being shut down by Facebook: Facebook folks responding positively to our call to be reinstated after mysteriously being shut down today - still no explanation though. They are working to get us back up and running at http://www.Facebook.com/GoGOP. Happy with how they have taken immediate action. Gotta give credit where credit is due.
Looks like the GoGOP may be down too.
I guess we can start calling it Fascistbook now.
I wonder if this has anything to do with it.

Liberal tolerance on parade
How come almost every aspect of my life is being interfered with by liberals? I have to do more paperwork at work because of new anti big business legislation. I no longer trust Google because of its intimate relationship with the Obama admin. Now, Facebook is playing this nasty game.
I am starting to feel like a wild animal trapped in a corner. Is that what they want? They need to realize that for every action there is a reaction.
