Don’t need much more evidence than that to see the nanny state in action. What a condescending ass.

You will notice that Senator Carter did not answer the question.

The answer is a resounding “YES”! You will be fined $2,500 every year you do not have some form of health care.

Of course the only form that will be left after the government runs for profit medicine into the ground will be government run single payer National Health Care.

Also, you will not be able to buy private health care once you lose it and will be forced to go into the government program. At least in Canada they can go to private health providers. We will not be allowed to.

Eventually WE WILL ALL be on the government Plan.

Of course, the politicians ARE exempt from this system. They can do as they please. They are the proletariat and will have premium health care outside the system and be the only ones allowed Dacha’s in the woods.

I can’t wait for the ‘Zil’ automobile from Government Motors!

Auto Insurance & home owners would pay for accidents like he mentioned.
If you have neither, borrow the jack because other peoples home owners and auto will have to cover your sorry ass.

The guy should have said to the Congressman:

So, if and when I never use the healthcare system you’ll be cutting me or my family a check for the amount of money that I never used right? Or is the truth that you’ll simply take my money and pay for everyone else’s problems with it?

No need to answer, I already know the answer.

    • TerryTate

If I don’t pay and others pay for me, then what you are saying Senator, is that I will finally be on equal footing with all of the illegal aliens……

    • YERMOM

When asked by the asshole about making other people pay for him, I would have simply asked him that isnt that exactly what you are asking me to do anyway?

10th amendment, interposition, just say no and keep saying no.
