This is BK. Given that Pat is supposed to be laying on a massage table, face down, for 8 hours a day and already in about 90% violation of the Dr.’s orders to do so (including by doing a great JKH last night), he’s going to do the right thing, and take it easy for tonight.

    I’ve had eye damage before, and all I can say is….HOLY HELL that hurt for weeks. Pat, my thoughts and prayers go out to you, I hope you feel better. keep the lights off, the shades drawn, and lots of pain meds in your system. I for one, was on Morphine for almost 2 weeks. Still hurt.

    People you *can* disobey? Officers- probably, junior NCOs- possibly, staff and gunnery sergeants- unlikely, first sergeants and sergeant majors- no way. Doctors? Piece of cake, they won’t come to your house, they won’t even call.

    So, I was right yesterday when opting out loud you’d probably need to keep your face positioned downwards to the floor.

    Damn, that’s the most difficult time to get trough, needing you to stay in such a position for, I supose, at least 48 hours after surgery.

    Please, please Pat, follow doc’s orders. You know as well as me that following the orders strictly will give you the only shot at full recouperating.

    Pat, I’ve gone trough this whole shebang with my dad, remember?

    I beg you, be carefull.

      Ok Jeanet..I got it. One of those luxurious massage table that have the opening for the head..face down.

      Then some massage oil and an expert masseuse. Hell, I could lay there for 48 hours with that set up. Plus good music. :lol:

    there is nothing more important than your sight. Please follow doc’s orders. On another note, if you ever end up in NH, expect a few free massages from a close personal friend of mine who is a miracle worker. She has fixed me for years, and is even creating a line of rubs, salts, oils, etc that she makes at home. And, she’s smokin hot too. cant go wrong there.
